AFAIK, no one is using genuine leather to be made for those removable seat covers. Genuine leather or combination (use of different patches of vinyl and leather) is what they use for reupholstering the seats and door panels in one's vehicle.

Most, if not all, use leatherette (or more known as vinyl) for those removable seat covers. Try going around Banawe and see if one of them has them readily available. Gold Cars (behind Dencio's) and Gold Rich are a start and one of the biggest there. Got my leatherette covers there for the Fortuner. The fit and finish was very good (looked like leather upholstered seats even if its not) but quite pricey for Php 9,000.00. Got it the same day because they have a template already so they have plenty of stocks.

Winterpine at Araneta Ave. also customizes leatherette seat covers. They'll have to measure the seats if they dont have a template yet. It will take around a week to finish and is cheaper by Php 1,500.00 compared to GoldCars but quality is really more substandard in terms of fit and materials.

mahirap siguro lagyan ng seat cover for the new RAV4... as far as the front seats is concerned, you have to take note of the side airbag pa... at least there should be a 5 inch opening for the airbag to come out, if not baka maaksidente yung nakaupo sa front. wala naman siguro problem for the 4x2 model since wala siyang side air bags...

The 4x4 variant has leather upholstery. I wonder why would anyone bother putting kulduroy seatcovers on top of leather.

Mas mura ipagawa yan sa labas. Walang in-house seat reupholsterer ang lahat ng casa kaya sa labas din naman ipapagawa yan ng casa at laking ipapatong yan s'yo. Better to go to the source and avoid third parties (casa).

If you're fixed on getting the Gen3 Rav, (possibly the premium price is not an issue for you), you could also try getting feedback from the Gen3 owners at www.GrupoRav4.com

Not sure sa 4x2, but nakaka 7 to 7.5 kms per liter yung 4x4 namin. Pure city driving no hi way.

    About the Rav4's AWD system.

For the first time, Toyota has shunned permanent all-wheel drive on the RAV for something they’ve dubbed Active Torque Control 4WD. In principle, it works like Honda’s Real-Time All-Wheel Drive system where power is sent first to the front wheels and splits the traction accordingly when the computer detects a slip. In Toyota’s case though, there’s a dash-mounted torque lock switch that splits power 50/50 (up to 40 km/h) during tough excursions to the park.

    GenIII Rav4 review at motioncars

In their review, they managed to 7.18 km/li on the Gen III Rav4.

If price isn't a problem, then the Rav4 is a good choice.

However, for that kind of money there are a lot more better alternatives like the Outlander. Imagine, you are getting 4WD & a MIVEC V6 engine for almost the same amount of money for a 2WD four cylinder Rav4.
