    Calling interested Rav4 owners. With the inability of a Rav4 group to get organized for the upcoming inter-SUV fun run, a few folks in R4W are suggesting to possibly start with even a small Rav4 meet (gens 1,2,3).

    went to toyota alabang to check out the RAV4 while waiting for my drivers license renewal at ATC...

    All I can say to those who bought the new rav4... you lucky dogs!!!!

    Having owned the previous version, the new Rav4 is definitely bigger and better overall - space, design, materials. I would buy one if given the chance. I saw a grayish blue metallic, nice color!!! lotsa storage bins at the back. airbags everywhere. everything bigger.

    Was able to test drive the Rav4 last sunday, engine is sweet and smooth. Malamig din ang aircon considering the scorching weather (41 C according to the XC90 termometer). But I don't know about the Pearl White, you'd be better off with another color hehe. But overall a great vehicle.

    But for P1.4M & P1.8M (for the 2WD & 4WD respectively) you'll be hard pressed to recommend this one.

    Nice. :D Kaya siguro mas mahal? Yung Grandia namin ilang taon na once lang nagkaproblema, nagkabara yung aircon, CBU from Japan din AFAIK.

    it has nothing to do with it (insurance), red contains the most pigment in terms of shades...

    WOULD PAINTING IT THE SAME COLOR BE CHEAPER THAN OTHER COLORS?
    Of course, painting the jambs, door posts, and underneath the deck and hood will increase the labor hours. Other than that, pigment is the determining factor in the cost of paint. Blue, for example, is made from cobalt, which is relatively inexpensive. Red pigments are by far the most expensive, perhaps three times the cost of whites (titanium dioxide).

    would anybody know kung meron nang gumagawa ng seat covers for the 06 rav4? preferably leather. meron na kaya silang template?

    Have you tried inquiring sa Kelseat? They have branches at Alabang and Banawe. I think Toyota gets them also when you want to upgrade to leather seats for your new vehicles.
