yung sa toyota dasma that is not the first time i heard of that. to be fair maski ford nakikita ko customer cars nasa goodyear getting aligned and new tires driven by ford employees. wala siguro alignment machine ang casa or mas cost effective sa kanila ipagawa na lang sa labas
basically middleman ang casa
capitalizing on their branding
di na nila kailangan ng mekaniko and tools and equipment
just need drivers
they can simply function as drop off ng mga kotse
drivers take the cars elsewhere to get serviced
ibalik sa casa, call the owners to pick up, patong presyo
middleman lang hehe
casa is glorified talyer
pagkaiba lang malinis ang sahig, naka uniform mga mekaniko
Nothing wrong.[emoji16]They need to have joyful test drives to diagnose & confirm trouble/repair.[emoji13]
I recall 1 incident of a premium badge dealership crew caught by us & the car owner spiritedly zipping his rare 1 thru the mountain twisties(my work route then). That vehicle was just in for routine maintenance. Car owner immediately dialed the management who knew nothing. The crew's flimsy reason? Test drive.[emoji13] If budships weren't deemed priceless, no amount of apologies nor freebies would've buried that episode.[emoji13]

Toyota lang kaya gumagawa nito? Who gave the casa permission to use the car?
I could never forget what a neighbor shared with me on his bad experience with Toyota Las Pinas. He brought his Hilux for a minor bumper repair and it was supposed to take a few days. After a week, not yet done so it was just fine. After two weeks, he visited the casa (still at Concha Cruz) and to his dismay, the bumper was replaced. He asked why and the manager told him that his pickup got into a front end collision when it was used to get supplies at Santa Rosa. WTF!!!
There were also a lot of other incidents with Toyota casas using the cars on the service lot. In Manila Bay, when we inquired for the RAV4, the agent said they could have allowed a test drive but they don’t one on the floor or the service lot. I wouldn’t want to use another person’s car without asking their permission.
