How much are OEM brake pads nowadays? I went with Bendix replacement pads. The GCT (entry level) pads - parang P1K+ - don't have that good a bite for something as big as the 120, but the 4x4/SUV version - around P2.5K+ - are biting ok. I think these are good replacements for the OEM pads.

Price is the upside, but brake noise is the downside. Mas maingay (high pitched squeal) yung Bendix.

If you're ok with the OEM price, I suggest you stick with stock. If you want to experiment and will be ok with the noisier brakes, the 4x4/SUV Bendix is a good alternative.

On a side note, took the 120 for a spin last Saturday night. Italian tune-up on a Saturday night.

Went to Alabang and back via the Skyway. On the way south, was running with an Evo 10. Too bad he wasn't in the mood to play (no challenge, just an old diesel Prado, I suppose). On the way back, was leading my friend on a Vios. I was only registering 170 kph (lost my 180 kph top end. Mukhang needs more exercise) but he was already at 180 kph.

I think I will have my fuel filter replaced and air filter cleaned in an attempt to get the 10 kph back.

Hi Chris, The price for leatherette is 14k while genuine leather cost 18K. Sorry sir, I don't know how to attach pictures here but it looks better than the original.

Ah I see. The Bendix 4x4/SUV pads bite quite well. They're comparable to stock. So you can probably consider them in the future. They're just noisier though. But no effect on braking performance.

I use different brands of diesel -- Caltex Diesel with Techron, Petron Diesel Max and Shell. Rarely, if ever, do I use the higher end diesels. Tried them before and didn't register any seat of the pants gains, kaya back to regular programming.

As far as I know we do not have a Prado Club locally. If you want more ideas on what to do with your Prado, you can also check out PradoPoint - Toyota Prado 4x4 Landcruiser Forum.

Naisipan ko lang lagiyan ng snorkel yung LC120 namin.

Ano usually yung procedure for this?

    Magkano kaya abutin?

Any Toyota dealer selling OEM snorkels?

Im not sure about OEM. Pero pag aftermarket, may Safari brand. And may mas mura na hyperflow brand. Yung hyperflow nasa 10k + install

Hmmm. How this interact with the stock air intake? And where will this be installed? May ibubutas pa ba sa fender or something?

Yes bubutasan yung fender. Sa ibang models, walang tatangalin sa stock air filter box. May hose lang from snorkel to stock intake box.

Had the same idea. Naunahan ako magpost ni mda. Hehehe! This is one of the first few mods of the serious folks in OZ.

Though the P10k + install is reasonable, am still trying to justify getting a gaping hole into my fender.

Not just on the fender, you need to bore a small hole on A pillar

    Medyo nakakaalanganin lang yung installation.

If may OEM and may good installers yung Toyota Casa, I just might bite haha.

I'm sure the folks at 199 Offroad house and the like can handle your install properly. Casa? I wouldn't trust them to do it. They don't have installs therefore your unit will be a one-off experiment.

pag nag snorkel around 2-4 small holes tapos one big hole sa fender tapos 2-4 holes sa a- pillar. yun iba nagiinstall pinipinturahan naman yun raw edges for rust protection
