The stock caps are made to crumble....
Bud took matters into own hands, designed himself press-fit 1s you won't need to remove everytime you undo the lugnuts. This should last the car's life.[emoji4]

Ah, so yung stock, cover din siya ng lugnuts. Malalaspag nga yun over time sa paulit ulit na tangal/balik.

Ni zoom ko yung last pic, maganda naman!

Problem w/ stock caps, the factory tire wrench won't fit w/o cap removal. With heat, the elements, UV, those weak tabs turn brittle & break.
He went simple & opted the 'heritage' badge. It's not for looks though....just meant to keep mud/dirt off the hubs & help stave of rust which the 120 isn't really immune to.20230402_200350.jpg

back when i was a kid i thought that logo means "T37" or "TE7". Before google was very popular my uncle told me that was the former corporate symbol of Toyota whlie he fixes his Corolla.

the founder, mr. toyoda, changed the name of the car to toyota.
it takes ten strokes of the calligraphy pen to write toyoda in japanese, and only eight strokes to write toyota.
eight is a lucky number to them.

    Concept of next gen Prado.
    Ganda! Sana matuloy...
Problem lang with the Prados & cousin FJ (discontinued) is that they're huge SUVs that need big engines (of course) that guzzle fuel...

The new Lexus GX is getting a twin turbo V6 just like the LC300. If they use the same engine lineup for the Prado it's going to be one fast SUV.

same goes if the 2.8L 1GD will be replaced with the LC300's 3.3L V6 twin turbo diesel. This is going the be a torque monster for a mid SUV.
