Last night I was at one subdivisions here in Cebu, Maria Luisa, and was going to its Phase 9, it was very hilly and steep. At one point, I feel my ride (innova g vvti a/t) almost choked to death literally... I always use unleaded gasoline (93+ octane) and I felt that the gas really was not that powerful...btw, I at times fill-up with those small players-gas stations and I do not know if their unleaded gas fuel is as clean as that of Petron, Caltex, Shell...would it be wise to fill up with higher octane gas para ma-"compensate" yung existing nanatitirang unleaded fuel sa tank ko?... tia

up ko lang tanong ko...

di naman fully loaded nung umakyat ako ng baguio, nahirapan lang talaga ako sa mga uphill climbs, lalo na sa kennon road uphill na nga twisting pa ang road., may point pa na one way kasi may ongoing road construction, kaya nag "hanging brake" pa ako, tapos naulan pa ng malakas, hehehe!

Hehehe, dati rin nahirapan ako umakyat gamit Innova VVT-i (Loaded) namin tapos ang hirap pang mag-overtake sa mas mabagal sa takbo ko. Tapos na-tyempo pa sa truck na may kargang kahoy at truck na may dalng mga bato ayun lalong bumagal ang pagakyat. Kaya after non kahit medyo malayo ang way pa-Marcos highway ok lang at least medyo maganda kalsada at maluwag. Pero bilib talaga ako sa Innova kasi napaka-powerful ng engine. Kahit loaded. May time na free sa Roosevelt Avenue hataw ako ng 100 kph ng nasa 3rd gear kayang kaya pa kasi di pa sagad rpm Pero sagad sa bulsa ang gas. Nyahaha!

ang breather eh butas/hole lang yung sa housing to avoid moisture, makikita mo yun. di pa ba nawawala ang moisture? minsan tlaga pag matagal ka natakbo sa ulan nag moisture yan pero overtime mawawala din, ganyan din yung sakin nun wala naman ako ginawa nawala ng kusa.

Malaking factor kung bakit hirap ang innova sa pag akyat ay dahil sa Electronic throttle natin. Halos lahat ng oto ngayon eh ganito na din, pero toyota lang ang me delay pag apak at pag bitaaw ng gas.

Both VVTi and D4D ba yan bro? Pansin ko lang sa VVTi ko kailangan lang more press on the accelerator by 3-4K rpm sa steep climbing para ma-compensate ang power. Pero di naman ramdam ang lag.

Guys...I'm planning to get an innova(diesel) G a/t by January 2011...based on feedback here ok talaga innova...yung vitara,lakas sa gasoline(95octane pa),matagtag pa ride(actually mas matagtag pa sa fortuner).Regular routes are laoag-tuguegarao(via Pagudpud)-manila-Pampanga-Pangasinan-Laoag..i think this car will fit my requirement....
