hmmmm

I brought my Innova sa casa for some body repairs. Walang problem or signs before I gave the car to them (1 click lang pag start kahit malamig ang gabi). 14 days later nung kinuha ko na sa casa, dead na ang battery. Stock battery is 14 months pa lang.

January 28th, 2016 01:13 AM #11685yes, it happened to me.
my theory is, the battery discharged flat while in the casa, probably because somebody used the charge, probably the radio, while the vehicle was undergoing repair.
and since battery plates fall apart much faster when they remain discharged for longer periods of time... by the time i got my car back, the battery was already in an advanced state of dying. i changed my battery within a week of getting the car from the casa.

January 28th, 2016 08:40 AM #11686Iyon din ang sabi ko sa kanila, maybe they turned on the radio while working on my car. Siyempre todo deny sila. Pero iyong sa akin completely drained and dead na siya. They had to jumpstart it para umandar. Now I think my alarm is fried. According to them nag reset lang daw and I have to bring it to my original dealer where I had the alarm installed para ma-reset and under warranty pa naman daw. I left the casa but I made them promise to replace my alarm should I found out that it was damaged.

January 28th, 2016 11:51 AM #11687That is the usual case. Turn radio and aircon to highest. Mabigla ka lang if you drive your car from the parked slot. Seats are all in the sleeping position.

January 28th, 2016 12:45 PM #11688hello
id just like to ask for help for some problem. i drive an 06 toyota innova and late last year, i noticed a "spraying sound" when i make a hard left and usually some liquid drips onto the mat from under the dash of the passenger side. i think it resolved on its own and didnt experience anything similar until yesterday. this time, kahit hindi lumiliko ay may nagddrip na water. i checked under the dash and noticed some condensation.
this is my dad's family ride but since he passed early this month, sa akin na napunta ang task to maintain their innova. ano po kaya ang cause ng water condensation and ano ang pwede kong gawin? and ano din po kaya ang cause nung spray sound?
thanks in advance

January 28th, 2016 01:08 PM #11690thanks for the reply. here's a photo of what's under the center of the dash. is it normal to have water there? the water drips from what's under the center of the glove though. planning a visit to my dad's choice of car AC repair shop over the weekend. as a band aid solution, i taped a diaper to catch the dripping water.
the hose at the bottom of the photo's supposed to drain the condensate but i reckon the water's coming from some place else as i just had this cleaned.
