WBR,
I stumbled across the Toyota Innova India web site, and I have to say it is much more informative than the Toyota Philippines site. They even had answers to some of the questions that I asked here but no one responded to.
I now know that the ground clearance of the Innova is 176mm, and that the blue spring I was asking about near the spare tire was connected to the LSPV (Load Sensing Proportion Valve), "which controls the braking power of the rear, according to the weight of the load so that good braking performance is always available."
I also found out that those Indians can choose from a 7-seater Innova variant with captains chairs for the second row (see attached pic). I wonder if Toyota Phils will come out with this option, and how much more it will cost. For my Sedona, the conversion of the second row to captains chairs cost me P15,000 3 years ago.

Comparing Isuzu Trooper and Isuzu Hilander for example, I heard Isuzu Trooper has 3 or 4 incidence of faulty Injectors, but Hilander has fewer or almost none. Both are from Isuzu. But I think both vehicles did not use the same Injector sets. I hope MAZDAMAZDA understands what I mean.Originally Posted by mazdamazda
Ok, will Toyota suffer the same fate? We all don't know for sure, maybe mazdamazda will know, tell us naman mazdamazda.
One more thing mazdamazda, Trooper,Fortuner, Innova, what we are comparing here is the diesel injectors not the horsepower nor the torque, we are focusing on the problems experienced on the vehicles(like Trooper). Of course Fortuner and Innova has yet to be seen since its quite new in the market. Peace be with you mazdamazda.![]()
I chose diesel because:
1. Mas matipid ang diesel fuel kesa gasoline plus more mileage, 9.5 km/l. sa city and
13-14 km/l. sa highway.
2. Mas malakas sa akyatan lalo na kapag full load ng passengers.
3. And also naka turbo charge pa and diesel engine ng Innova, ang bilis sa highway.
4. And lastly, mas madaling ibenta after 5 years at mas maganda re sale value.
Kaya I suggest you go for the diesel engine innova kahit medyo mas mataas ang price.

Marami daw order sa J-Variant, so Toyota nagsamantala.Originally Posted by bongliza

TO those who have leather seat covers...
MAyron ba foam and net twine sa underside ng leather seat covers niyo?? pics attached.. this is to protect the orig seat covers( moquette) of our car...
WBR,
yung sa akin meron. pang protection pala ito akala ko para mas malambot at maganda lang tignan kaya nila nilalagyan ng foamOriginally Posted by Innova_Boy
This is my personal version why diesel engine is more economical.Originally Posted by geebunny
Let's take these considerations:
No. of years of usage : 5 yrs.
Average km/day : 91.31 kms (based on 100T km in 3 years warranty)
Average Km/L with corresponding Price/Liter:
Gas: 9Km/L, PhP 29.50/Liter
Diesel: 12Km/L, PhP 27.50/Liter
Accumulated Km in 5 years =166,666 Km
Consumption:
Gas: 166,666 Km/ 9 Km/L X 29.50 PhP/L = PhP 546,294.09
Diesel: 166,666 Km/ 12 Km/L X 27.50 PhP/L = PhP 381,943.00
Based on these results, PhP164,351 can be saved on diesel.
However, to brake the Php 50,000 difference between gas & diesel, the accumulated Km should be approximately 50,704.175 Km.
Gas : 50,704.175 Km/ 9 Km/L X 29.50 PhP/L = PhP 166,197.01
Diesel: 50,704.175 Km/ 12 Km/L X 27.50 PhP/L = PhP 116,197.06
The difference is PhP 50,000.
Mga bro, this is just my personal approach based on fuel consumption only. This excludes maintenance, resale value and other things. Any version are most welcome here.
