    I can still see the engine cover, it's D4D.

    Faulty electrical wiring most probably.

    paging Innova owners na tsikot member out there, could share some insights on this incident...

    definitely a D4D engine w/ major, major faulty electrical wirings that caused by what?...

    D4D nga yun kita sa engine cover. maybe fauty electrcal wiring o kaya nag ground sa body yung live wire.

    Halos karamihan puro electrical wiring ang dahilan . Maganda pa rin clip type ang battery terminal doon sa nakakaintindi pwede mo pang maagapan pag may ng short na wire madaling tanggalin sa battery .

    It was a Diesel variant D4d, and a high end variant due to absence of rod antenna on the windshield pillar. Yung bumper niya parang 2009-2010 model. And for sure it was a D4d due to absence of radiator filler cap.

    Side lang ng battery ang nasunog dahil sa side ng air cleaner intact pa ang mga hose. Short circuit yan and probably due to add on accessories, probably HID kit dahil ang nagliyab yung wiring harness ng head light across the front grills.

    Yari kung nag-deploy ang air bag dahil sa harap ng radiator ang sensor nito..

    jumpered connection(without fuse or overated fuse) + overload wire(small gauge) = fire
