We run 32-33psi on ours and the passengers don't complain much, but yes, you can get jarred in bad roads. It's possible that you're just not used to the type of suspension in the Hiace (the Starex is much better in terms of ride comfort IMO). Try to see if you can find aftermarket Old Man Emu, Iron Man or Bilstein shocks that will fit the Hiace. I have not tried searching or have not gotten any feedback for the Hiace but on our Everest and Land Cruiser, the aftermarket shocks did help somewhat.

Just to share, i bought brake pads for our Grandia GL today. OEM Toyota costs P3,750 at Toyorama (Banawe) while at the CASA, they sell at P6K++. More than 2K difference.

The Hiace gl rear suspension is different from the super grandia. The difference is in the rear leaf springs. The leaf springs on the gl has a piece of rubber on the lowest leaf. You can simply change the leaf to one without rubber. Once removed, your ride will be same as the super grandia.

Is the lowest molye thickness the same between the Grandia GL and Super Grandia? Or thinner yung sa SG? Still have not been able to see/inspect an SG rear leafspring. Looks like a good project to do this summer. I did that to my Frontier before but i only reversed the rear "helper" molye (lowest).

Not much difference in thickness . If you constantly carry heavy load , you can put two molye instead of one, but that will lift the rear. The c clamp can accommodate two molye. I posted the work we did on our GL few years back. Got dizzy riding in the back of the GL especially thru bumpy roads (like edsa) .

Thanks! I remember already that you posted something like this a few years back; you looked for the molye in Caloocan right? Maybe the rubber is serving as a bump stopper (to keep the van from sagging under heavy load); thus the bouncier ride. Would be good to mod the molye then install a good set of shocks.

You will be satisfied with your ride once the rubber is removed.
With the front, you can put spring savers. Go to primal in banawe and ask them about polyurethane spring savers (brand is ttc)
Don't get the rubber ones , they don't last. YouTube ' TTC ' I think still there.
    Good luck
