madali i-pry ang sliding window.
hanggang now ba fixed pa rin un base grandia? baka un commuter. ang pangit ksi pag sliding e parang school bus nga.
No idea what for, but i agree it's a good call. Kahit sa Pajero inis ako sa itsura nung rear side-glass ng local units, may cheap-ass sliders kasi, mas maganda pa tignan yung mga Subic converted. Not to mention those things are easy to pry open.
cost cutting...
better to have those sliding windows in case masira yung aircon or you need to speak with someone outside of the vehicle.
imagine mo 12 kayong nakasakay tapos nasira yung aircon. hehe.![]()
not to mention ang gamit usually ng vans ay out of town, kaya mas masarap i-feel ang provincial breeze kapag naka-open ang windows.
Reminds me of a sardine-packed Tamaraw FX i saw one summer noontime in traffic on SLEX... hoo boy.
It looks better without the sliding windows as the windows Toyota placed look real fugly...
The Starex is also like that (the windows could only be opened a bit).
A/C systems are much more reliable and capable now then as compared to 10-15 years ago though.
For Inquiry !
Im looking for a Sliding Window for Super Grandia, because all SG now is plain glass, no more window on both sliding doors. is there anyone who can provide me info where could i buy sliding window for my Super Grandia. prefer outside market not on casa....... casa is very expensive! ty
the super grandia is awesome however its not as frugal as i thought it would be.
it only has a 5-6 km/litre gas consumption in city driving. 10 km/litre out of town.
Guys is it possible to fabricate customized sliding windows for the hiace grandia? kasi latest models now dont have sliding windows anymore e. It's just one whole window panel ( you can't open it incase sira yung aircon or if you have to talk to someone outside). Sa US there are shops that specialize in customizing windows. meron kaya dito? Thanks!

I rode in our company van here- Grandia GL ok naman sya but if aircon conks out on you, it will be a disaster waiting to happen- especially if you are in Manila!
But i kinda like this van- now that Mitsubishi doesn't have a decent modern day van- if i had one, i would name it "loafbread"!
==================================
I saw 2 other newly purchased Grandia GLs in this City and found a interesting add-on: Moulded (Black) Front and Rear Mudguards! It makes the van look more complete/equipt actually. Has anyone there in Manila and anywhere else seen this feature also? thanks.
Happy Holidays to all the Toyota Tsikoteers!
