You can do it, just think about the in and outs of this business. It will be profitable in the future should you succeed. You can even add a new unit and so on.

I have a van for rent business since 2008. At the start, the van might not sustain it's monthly amortization because you're fairly new to the market and hasn't yet established your pool of customers.

Correct marketing strategy coupled with good customer service will be your ticket to a successful van for rent business.

Sir I'm planning this one also maybe mid-year, tanong ko lang kung papaano ba ang pricing sa van for rent? Per Km ba ang computation or may standard rate kang sinusunod. And also since van for rent ang plan ko and not as UV express Im planning to get the GL grandia so that more comfortable ang passenger instead of Commuter. With the price difference of around 250T, do you think kayang kitain ang pang monthly or better get commuter? Thanks!

    For owners of Super Grandia.

Can the two " captain chairs " swivel 180 degrees ? (to face the passenger at the following row)

In Thailand, the Ventury (thats what they call a higher end Super Grandia there) has this feature.

From what i see (did not confirm though), seems like it can't swivel. Does the Ventury have the same seating capacity as the Super Grandia?

The turbocharger functions as a result of exhaust gasses going into it for recirculation into the intake; it operates at a certain rpm (around 1600-1800 usually in most mass produced cars i've encountered).

Although ours is a Grandia GL.

    Pros:
    - Space
    - Fuel efficiency is okay. It does around 8-9km/L in the city and 13km/L in the highway/ If i load it up and drive it hard up the mountains (mix highway and city), it does 10km/L+ to 11km/L.

    Cons:
    - No rear windows
    - Won't fit some covered pay parking areas (in our case, Ayala Tower, Shang Mall and Robinsons Galleria. No problem with SM Malls and Rockwell)
    - Not as powerful as the Grand Starex

I was planning to get my Grandia GL today monotone but unfortunately OS daw ang mga ito. I heard a buzz na may minor face lifts and/or spec up daw this coming June. Is there truth to this?

And the only available units are Super Grandia which are great but beyond my working budget..

BPI said just get the starex.... But i guess my eyes are fixed on the GL

    Please enlighten me on this

Really Bro? I've seen a few at Shangrila Mall. Might've been pretty close to the ceiling though.

I hit the pipes of the main building top floor parking (good thing it was flexible and had wrapping) and the guard had to lift it up to get me through. Possibly in the parking building it will fit. What irked me was there was no minimum height marker that time when i entered since had I known, i would have gone straight to the roof deck. Good thing the scratches were removed after some wax.

Ah I see, the side near Mercury Drug. I was referring to the parking building.

Though not much a problem as the Grandia, the Grand Starex also has a height issue somewhat. But I'm now appreciating the antenna on local/HARI units. They give me some sense of proximity to the ceiling compared to non-HARI units with window laminated antennae.

Guys! I changed tires this morning from my stock goodyear fortera 225 70 15 to bridgestone dueler HL 235 70 15. I did this because the 2011-2012 super grandia have these stock tires on them. I discovered lastnight that my stock tires already have sidewall damage "bukol". I wanna know what psi do u put on your tires? And may i know what brand and size of tires do u have? Thanks

    ^235/70's still fit okay?

We use the 215/70R15 Bridgestone truck tires on our GL now (RE series) which are wider than the skinny 195R15s that come standard. I'd wished for the Yokohoma Geolandar 225's though and would change it but it's uncertain on how much longer we'll have the Hiace with us (pondering on selling it). We run 34-35psi (cold) most of the time.
