i noticed that there is no FC database thread here. almost all the other brand threads have one.

    36 km hi-way (100-130 kph) (Star tollway) + 24 km city

that's really good too, considering the 3.0 L engine.

My personal best using Innova gas MT with ordinary oil in combined city and highway driving during Sunday and early morning without traffic is 15.38 km/Li. Petron XCS gas.

Doesn't matter if you fill up when the needle reaches 1/2, 1/4, or when the warning light comes on.

As long as you divide km travelled by liters filled, you get the actual fuel consumption, just make sure to use up at least 15L to get a reasonably accurate reading to compensate for variances.

Perfect! Keep on doing it; though you may find it interesting to compare your "full tank method" results with your MID results. Just don't forget to reset the MID every time you re-fuel!

I agree. There was a time I only consumed close to 5 liters of fuel... then, I refueled immediately because of an imminent oil price hike. Guess what -- I registered 17 km/l! Crazy. I didn't include that in my FC registry; I thought it was a fluke.

And oh, I noticed the more fuel I consume, the closer the full tank method results are to the MID results.

I once posted a message about that before. I believe it's also in this thread.

What I like about aCar is that there's so much more filters. I can filter my fillups by driving condition (city/highway/mixed), by driving style (eco driving/hard driving), by brand (Petron/Shell/etc), by date, and many other options.

I've tried many others but none are as customizable as aCar.

Honestly, every time I say I will try to be lighter on the throttle and improve my numbers get worse

    Vehicle: 2017 Vios 1.3 J
    Fuel: Caltex Platinum

    Total Distance Traveled: 151 kilometers
    Total Liters Refueled: 13.307 liters
Route: Alabang-Los Baņos (via Slex) > Around UP Los Baņos (Monday-Friday) > Los Baņos-Alabang (via Slex)

    Full Tank Method Result:
    11.32 km/L
    3.9s pesos/km

*jut703 I got the paid version of roadtrip now. It really is better than the free one thanks!

Just a few personal notes from my last fuel consumption:

    - The low fuel warning lit up when my tripmeter was at 350.9 km (around 50 km short vs. historical data).
    - It's the first time since June 1 that my average speed is at 12 kph (3 kph slower vs. historical data).
    - Given the traffic and slower average speed, my last full tank was only good for 8 weekdays/weeknights.
