    gud day to all tsikoteers!

just planing to purchase innova and need some info regarding the d4d problem of the diesel variant. i am frm abra and decided the diesel powered one because of its high torque and fuel efficiency but my concern is that is the problem still present in their new models/units (2007-2008)? tenks in advance!

Innova J M/T 2.0 VVT-i consumes more than 8km/liter of gas in city driving is average or too low given a parameter of not exceeding your RPM of 2000?

Has any body here with more than 3000 KM in their odometer reading , with the same variant Innova J, consumed better mileage driving out of town?

    thanks!

My innova j/vvt-i/mt which I just bought a month ago runs at 9.27km/liter combination of city and highway driving. I suggest that you must not race the engine, and warm it up 3-5 mins before your initial roll of the day.

I used to fill E10 of Seaoil. Kaya lang kung minsan nauubusan sila ng Ethanol. Now, I went back to Petron Xtra Unleaded. After 20,500 kms, my consumptions are still the same, 8 km/li City traffic and 10-11 provincial trips.

guys, isama nyo kung turbo ang innova nyo or not. coz the E series walang turbo, ang G series meron.

based on mine, i have a E series, i run around 7.8 km/li, after biodiesel usage, it improves to 9 km/li on city driving, and 11.7 km/li from manila to tagaytay and vice versa.

i heard from my friend that the G series can run up to 8.8 km/li (based on the MID reading) with Turbo charger kasi G series.

they differ 100,000 Pesos although. pero if mas matipid, mas sulit ang G, pero if hindi, ok na E, kasi puro accessories lang G, ang ginanda lang is the Turbo Charger, but aint big enough eh.

kung accessories lang hanap nyo, its way cheaper sa banawe area.
i got my spoiler for 4500 php as compared sa casa that charges 9700, well its the same item. pero some people believe that casa is better (well, price wise, not friendly sa bulsa) hehe

    WBR,
    dude,

im not sure about what you said that all innova variants of D4-D has a turbocharger. how come my E variant only gets a 8.2 km/li rating as compared to my uncle's G variant with a 9.4 km/li rating?

    any idea dude?
we bought the car at the same time.

we both will have our 5000km checkup anytime soon next week

comments people with innova D4-D J,E,and G variants owners?
    what are your ratings?

pakisama sa details kung gas o diesel, kung at o mt, mileage at yung regular weight load nyo.

richmnd: As for the fuel consumption discrepancy, it's probably driving style and conditions.

ang laki pala ng savings sa gas consumption between innova and revo. yung revo ko na 2.0 AT na gas, mga 6.5 km/L ang nakukuha ko sa city driving, and my best was like 14 km/L pababa ng tagaytay hehe.
