curious question lang. about modelong toyota cars and SUVs.
madalas ko kasi mapansin yung mga emblem nila, it reads:
toyota vios 1.3 G or 1.6 E or 1.6 J
toyota fortuner G
ano meaning nun mga initials na yun - E , G at J?
sensya na, nagtataka lang. salamat

yan ang trim level na ginagamit ngayon..
nooon: xl, xe, gli
revo: dlx, gl, sr, lxv(limited), vx
sa liteace: basic(no designation), GXL(hangang dito lang ang local), ang akin ay mas mataas pa FXV
sa japan kasi, same as sa bago na ang trim letter designation:
bare(no badge), x, v, g.
bagong previa/camry v(not sure) at q

They are arbitrary. They really don't have meanings in themselves. E doesn't mean 'empty' or anything, but E is usually used to denote a base model.
The typical arrangement for Toyota is E, J, G, V (from bare to top of the line). Some models do not go up to a V designation and Toyota can pretty much use the badges any way they want.
