Hello po. tanong lang din po ako. kasi last week nagleak yung master cylinder ko, hindi ko napansin nabawasan ng fluid at hindi ko nadinig na umaandar yung ABS pump nya kahit naka patay na yung engine, so binunot ko kaagad yung battery, mainit na kasi yung pump. tapos pinapalitan ko ng pump, ganun pa din, tumatakbo ng patay ang engine. so chineck yung kulay pulang box, door control (ABS) daw po. dun nakita sa ilalim ng dashboard, at isa pang controller. same pa din kasi wala namang nakitang problem dun. anu pa po kaya ang possible na nasira sa pump? is it ok na ipadisable ko na lang yung ABS ko, hindi pa ako magkakaproblema sa braking? patulong naman po. salamat. Kotse ko po pala wala pang one month sa akin, toyota corolla 1.6 GLi 1997 model limited edition daw po o high-end na corolla nung panahon na yun.

1. choke is non-functional. i don't know if yours is automatic, electronic or manual. but it seems a simple enough problem to solve.
2. restore the fan to its thermostat connections po. i assure you, the manufacturer has good reason to have it that way. medyo mahaba explanation. google it na lang, po.
good day guys,newbie lang ako dito sa forum.medyo napapraning ako ngayon sa corolla 1996 gli ko,4afe engine. bale kakatop overhaul lang kasi,nung nakuha ko na yung kotse hindi normal yung idle niya so pinaadjust ko, so far ok naman, kaso nung nakaraang araw nag ac ako kasi umuulan (usually open window ako lagi to save gas :D) eh may sumisipol pag nagrerev ako,pero pag off naman ac wala sipol,sinubukan ko rin ioff yung radio pero ganun pa rin,tapos nung ichecheck ko kaninang hapon nawala yung sipol,parang may time lang na sisipol siya,pero mostly pagkaon ko ng ac sisipol sya every rev ko at may parang lumalagatok pag nakaidle/menor. pero hindi yun yung kinakasakitan ko ng ulo, ang kinakasakitan ko ng ulo ngayon eh yung fuel consumption ko, from 10km/liter naging 8km/liter na lang, ano kaya problem?ano mga kelangan ko ipacheck?

I think if thats really a a city driving with minimal traffic matipid na din.. kasi may kaibigan ako meron syang BB XL at ang consump. Nya is 10-11 klm per liter city drive at 13-14 hiway yun kwento nya.. im expecting 7-8 klm per liter city drive since matic sya.. pero depende lang din cguro tlga sa condition ng makina.. how about maintenance?

This was taken just 2 weeks ago. I will try this again on my next full tank to see if this is consistent. Btw, my gauges are broken so my only method is by full tank. I leave it to my father when it comes to maintenance. Ang current issue ng unit ko is the shocks which is matagtag na palitan nadin and ung gauges ko di na nagana. 2nd hand nabili 3yrs ago, currently at 95k kms.[emoji6]

Ok pre update mo ako sa 2nd test mo hehe.. baka sa monday test drive ko yung unit..its all stock pero mukhang maayos p naman.. kupas na ngalang pintura since orig paint pa sya pero ang loob intact pa.well malalaman pag naunat unat na ang mga kasukasuhan..

Best recomended ayun sa mga nabasa ko is regular unleaded lang, yung mga 91 to 92 ron.. kasi halos ganun din nmn daw performance at fuel eff. With the higher ones. Mas mura pa [emoji16]

Have you checked the speed sensor or speedometer cable? Baka kasi doon lang ang sira ng speedo.
You can purchase a surplus gauge cluster, then you can either install the whole surplus cluster, or transfer the RPM and Speedometer gauges to your existing cluster.
Gauge repairs are not recommended.
