18x8, 225/40 R18 tires. Achilles 2233 lang, kasi walang SX2 or 595 SS. Ok lang kasi panghaharabas ko lang naman. And my friends also use this tire pangtrack, for some reason kahit mura eh durable naman. 13k for the set, so P3,250 lang isa.

Katabi ko kanina Altis na naka 17s ng 86...di masyadong stand out compared to 18s.

No difference in ride quality naman with the 18s vs the 16s. Lambot kasi ng suspension ng Altis.

First wash and wax.



I tried out The Detail Studio in home depot. Their guys are really knowledgable about detailing. I had a crash course on the different waxes and sealants. Their service is much more personalized compared to Big Bert's.

Ortigas Home Depot. I availed of their wash + clay + paint cleaning + wax, for P1,200. They used Meguiar's Paint Reconditioning and then Collinite 845. No long line, just one car ahead of me. They can service 2 cars at a time. The whole thing took about 2 hrs.

I'm very happy with the results:

My problem with detail studio is, mas mahal siya sa big berts. For the same service, P800 lang singil ng big berts. Kapag may sarili akong wax na dala, P600 lang singil sa akin. Yung P800 na service from Big Berts, already includes a quick waterless engine wash.

Yes bro, my previous truck was also black. So I know how much a pain in the behind it is to maintain one hehehe.

700 lang yung wash, clay, wax and waterless engine wash ng Detail Studio bro. The extra 500 I paid was for the paint cleaning - first time I heard of it, but from what I saw, they applied Meguiar's Paint Reconditioning Cream to even out any defects on the paint, before putting a second layer of Collinite 845. Result is a very shiny finish, without watermarks, swirl marks, or shiny holograms.

mga sir lalo na po yung naka 1.6 manual transmission, ask ko lang po if ano rpm niya at 100kph at 6th gear cruising speed all stock? thanks

100 kph is around 2,500 rpm on 6th gear.

However, one thing I noticed is that the Altis' speedometer is WAY off. 100 kph on the speedometer is just 93 kph on my GPS. My tires are already slightly bigger than stock (by about 1%) but there's still a huge discrepancy.

No wonder the Altis videos on the internet all have very quick 0-100 times. It's more like 0-93 than 0-100.
