Actually Black is hardest to maintain.
Black ang hardest to maintain kaya siya ang ginagawang benchmark for detailing products (polish, wax, sealants, etc.) The darker the color of the paint, the more pronounced surface imperfections become.
Black > Other Dark Colors > White > Silver and Light Colors
mda, walter, really? why so? my concern with the gray is i actually see it more of a blue than a gray
if silver was available for the V i will not be having this problem
red_one, i see. thanks!
Tama, mukhang blue yung gray kaya yun talaga first choice ko dati. Unfortunately, 1 month na ko naghihintay sa gray unit kaya nagblack na lang ako. Nagsisisi na nga ako sa black, hirap nga imaintain. Kitang kita ang alikabok, light scratch. Kakatapos lang ng carwash kinabukasan madumi agad. Unlike kapag gray/silver parang hindi nadudumihan.
Thanks simonzaide, artsky and johndman. Will check Seatmate out.
I also opted for the black rather than the gray -- I decided that the bluish tint was a little more "casual" for my liking, while the black was a little more "Camry", especially with the chrome trims on the V.
The darker "real" gray on the 10th gen corolla would have been the perfect tint IMHO. Sayang.
My only complaint so far is the audio. Tinkered the hell out of the HU for hours but for my ear I think its the speakers that could have been better -- ones that give a wider mid-range. It also sounds like the tweeters are not *separated* properly, like they're on 100% of the time and for everything when they should only help for the tings and dings. My wife's Fiesta Sport (2012) sounds much better. Way better.
13km/l mid reading. 80% slex driving. Happy na. 3K plus km reading.

Hi, the sound coming out from the stock HU and speakers on my 1.6V is not good. I plan to replace the stock speakers (paper cone) with Rockford Fosgate (Mylar cone): separates for the front and 3-way co-axial for the rear. I'm not into loud rock or hip hop music. More of the sound quality pops, instrumental and classical. Any comment please?

If you are planning to replace the stock speaker with aftermarket spakers like RF, then i would advise you to add an amplifier to properly drive the after market speakers. Take note that the stock HU has lower RMS output. Your aftermarket speakers will not perform as expected.
I'll try to post pics of my Altis 1.6V 2014 with leather seat upholstery and sidings also made by Seatmate in Mandaluyong. Very nice workmanship.
