Hi everyone! I just want to share my joy of being a proud owner of Toyota Altis E black, really a head turner.

Got the unit two days ago so far so good, I did have difficulty of adjusting from driving an automatic vios to a manual altis. So far ang lambot ng manibela and I feel like a race car sa skyway, I'm getting used to the 6th gear pa. The cabin is so quiet,the speaker is nice although the thing I didn't like for the E model is the key, mejo cheap looking and wala alarm yung stock, planning to have one installed in the future. But other than that, I am a well satisfied customer

Unfortunately yung unit ko halos mag 8 days na sa casa dahil may pinapatingin ako na "tok" sound ang problema di nila mahanap ang tunog, binaba na nila shocks at nakailang road test na di padin nila makita so next step daw nila ichecheck ang body at chassis kung may nakausling bakal or what! Hay hasel wala pako sa 5000 km ganun na agad

Yes, sobrang hassle nga ng ganun. Kaya nga bumili ka ng brandnew. Yung akin kala ko ok na, lumipat lang pala yung rattle sound sa ibang parte after ng ilang araw. Twice ko na dinala, hindi pa din maayos. Tiisin ko muna ng ilang months bago ipacheck ulit.

Ung sakin din may naririnig na din akong rattle sound. Pag nasa uneven road minsan minsan may tunog minsan hindi. Dinala ko saglit sa Servitek para i-angat and matingnan nung kilala naming mekaniko. Wala naman daw problema sa shock. I'll end up pa din sa casa eventually.

Actually madami nga nagrereklamo sa rattling issue. Sakin naman so far so good medyo tahimik sya ang problema k is minsan di ko pa napapatay bumababa nko hahaha (downside of the pushstart )

Anyway regarding sa warranty natin if magupgrade ka ba sounds warranty lang sa audio ang voided or buong electrical warranty na ?

meron din sakin rattling sounds. Have brought this up sa toyota bicutan but I backed out kasi matagal daw magdiagnose ng rattle noise. Mine is coming from the dashboard middle or passenger side. Ang hula ko is yung silver garnish sa dash that's causing the noise. Try niyo katukin, parang medyo maluwag siya.

maybe you can ask them to fit in your choice of seats, for a fee of course..

Is it normal for front disc plates to be rust colored? normal naman rear. I hear a kayod sound when I brake and my brakes are mahina compared to my other car

Normal. Mine are usually rust colored after a thorough car wash. Nothing a panic brake downhill won't fix.

brake discs are normally nice and shiny when you get home and park it in the garage. but because the metal surfaces are nice and shiny, oxygen in the air easily reacts with the iron, producing that dull orange compound called rust. by the next morning, the disc surface is covered by a fine layer of rust.
but a few impressions of the brake on your way to work, will remove all that rust.
the process starts over again in your workplace garage..
the process is markedly enhanced with the presence of water. as in today's weather.

bottomline: nothing to worry about.

Mine are rust colored only after carwash. That is what I have observed too. the brakes are not weak but do require some more pedal force compared to other cars.

Yes. Press it for at least 3 seconds. otherwise it wont open.
