I have been complaining about engine noise on my Gen 10. Baka naman nasanay lang ako sa Gen 11 na

I don't notice the road noise.

Perhaps you can try to visit mobile / auto audio shops that install aftermarket sound deadening on the door panels, under the carpets, trunk, etc. These effectively reduce sound from the outside.

Undercoat / rustproofing also helps in reducing sound from the underchassis

Meron ba ditong nakakarinig ng squeaky sound coming from the wiper? Parang nasa dulo banda ng rubber ung noise. Since rainy season na, most of the time naka-on ang wiper. Kaso nakakairita ung ingay. Any good advice?

Try wiping the blades with Armor All. If you have the time scrub, clean and protect your windshield.

There's a manufacturer installed option to combat all those sorts of noises you people are hearing.

    It's called a radio.

But then again, maybe it's because the engine is so quiet that our ears notice the road noise more.

In any case, I think the eco tires contribute to the noise - in a few years we'll see once people start replacing their stock tires.

I doubt the tires would do justice here. But I guess worth experimenting. Lalo na on a cemented road, super rinig talaga yung ikot nung gulong sa daan. Haha. But yeah once the radio is on, wala na. )

Hi miss Cathy. All our engines are bound to get noisy as our cars age sabi nga nila. Hopefully di ganun kagrabe sa gen 11 sa katagalan.

Thanks sir. Considering the undercoat after the rainy days. Deadening.. Parang ayaw ko muna pakalas yung doors ni altis habang bago pa haha.

Thanks for this info. Para mapaghandaan ang budget natin hehe. Yun lang sir, pansin ko di na glossy black yung replacement panel. For the antenna adaptor, does it mean di gagana radyo natin without it? Can't remember replacing my stock HU sa vios then buying a seperate adaptor pa. Or maybe it was just for vios.

Have you guys having difficulty closing your trunk? mine is too hard (1.6V) you need to have a good downward force applied on top of the toyota badge in order to close it. i'm having difficulty at mall parkings where the mall guards just push and push 3-5 times after trunk inspection. i'm worrying it might wear and tear or dislocate the trunk arms. i'm having it checked sa CASA i just want to hear from you guys if you have the same problem

I also have 1.6V. Same with my car, I am experiencing it too. Kelangan nasa middle ang force (sa may taas ng toyota badge) inorder to close it properly. Pag nasa side part, it won't close easily.
