all are wrapped in plastic, sir, because that is how these parts are received in the factory. the plastic keep the parts clean during assembly and during shipping.. it is the casa's service to you, when they remove the plastics. but if you prefer, you can request they not remove the plastics.

yung saken sir naka sched irelease this sat.. pero binisita ko kanina. walang plastic sir mga upuan except driver's seat pero ndi rin yung tipong naka sealed or sarado. at madumi loob (flooring, arm rest madumi, side ng driver's chair) even labas ng sasakyan maalikabok. may plastic yung glossy plate ng stick pati radio set sa dashboard. papalinis pa daw nya before irelease pati car wash and wax. sabi ng SA hindi naman daw naka plastic lahat usually driver and passenger seat lang daw...

what do you think sir? and what should i do? pede ko bang tanggihan yun? kaso naka undercoat na ata kulay black at may tint na.

so from thailand dinala sa pasig branch then minaneho from pasig to shaw. tinanong ko SA sabi ko fresh from thailand ba talaga yan or baka galing showroom.

guys yung bang brand new altis nyo naka plastic ba lahat ng upuan nung kinuha nyo sa casa? what if let say may defect kang nakita before mo kuhanin sa casa let say yung upuan sa likod hindi pantay like medyo lubog yung isang side (possible factory defect example lang) or other defects na napansin nyo. pede bang hindi tanggapin yun? ano gagawin nyo?

Only the front seats and headrest had plastic. Diba you and the sales person are supposed to inspect everything in the checklist before you sign the papers? I am not sure if you can refuse a unit if the defect you saw is not major.

Yung unit ko pwede na din tamnan ng kamote when I saw it. Pero may construction kasi sa tabi ng Toyota kaya lahat ng auto puno talaga ng alikabok.

Maamoy mo naman ang brand new, pati yung feel ng plastic alam mong bago.

A unit appears "dirty" externally (bec. of dust accumulation) is quite natural bec. these dealers (and even Toyota plants) just park these units outside exposed to all environments.

A dirty interior is a tell tale sign the unit was used as a display unit (in the malls or showroom) or as test drive (they just disconnect the odometer cable so it won't show up in the display). Tell tale signs include dirty footwell (esp. driver's side). Plastics on the seats were removed (esp. if "free" seatcovers were not installed).

I need your opinions.
For 2.0V what is your preferred color between gray and black?
Yung gray maganda sa 1.6 versions dahil silver ang mags but medyo out of place yung kulay nya sa maitim na mags ng 2.0V.
Yung black naman parang nawawala yung mga curves pag tiningnan mo at monochrome lang sya tingnan kasi walang contrast sa mga black portions ng bumpers.
Sa tingin ko talaga pearl white and pinakamaganda because of the contrast with the mags and the black portions sa front and rear bumper but my wife only wants either gray or black. Voted out na yung pearl white, red and brown at syempre nasunod lang naman ako. hehe.

Anyone who owns an M/T variant either E or G of the new model? Comment lang po sana on the engine performance. Same feel po ba dun sa gen10/10.5? Maganda raw po kasi yung new CVT but if mamaximize yung engine thru the M/T and may improvement dun sa previous model, I'll opt for stick shift nalang.

Maraming colors ang available, mamimili ka. About the design, pwede mong sabihin kung ano gusto mo.

Hello guys! I'm just new here. Pa share naman po ng info about FC & road performance both in city & hiway ng 2.0V variant. I'm planning to get one very soon. I consider the 1.6G M/T dahil mas sanay ako sa manual but I'd like to give a try the 2.0V CVT dahil sa mga features nito. Hope u can help me to decide...thanks.
