Cath, try to take note of the average speed recorded by your MID as well. This should give you an idea of how much traffic you encounter on a daily basis.

11-15 kph - bumper to bumper traffic
    16-20 kph - moderate traffic
21-25 kph - generally light traffic

Anything higher than that is most likely mixed or highway driving.

I'm guessing the above mentioned FC's are based on 1.3L to 1.6L of engine displacement regardless of tranny either M/T or A/T? Tama ba???

That's regardless of engine. Average speed is determined by the total distance the car travelled divided by the number of hours it was running, hence, km/h.

Those numbers are my estimates based on the different driving conditions I've observed with different cars.

I am currently getting 9.9 km/l on my FC reading. Average speed is 34 kph. I am quite happy with this considering I used to get 8+ km/l only. I idle a lot kasi (about 20 mins daily). I stopped this habit for about 5 days and got 9.9 km/l. I don't pass traffic and I travel less than 10 km. So I will never get a higher reading because it takes me less than 20 mins to my destination?

    My odo reading is 215km.

Yes, pero usually light to moderate traffic lang. Bumabawi lang sa commonwealth at central ave na diretso lang talaga.

Im trying to decide between getting an Ecosport AT or an Altis 1.6 AT. Which car would be more economical kaya if its to be used for city driving? My daily route would be tandang sora - edsa - ortigas and back.

I think alam ko na bakit mababa FC ko, mahilig ako mag idle

Nope, i think its V variant. White is available only in E and V variants. Super white for E and pearl white for V.

    +1 zthan

I requested for White when I got my G in January. In the brochure there's no White for G and SA at BGC confirmed it.

White was only for E (regular) and V (pearl) then.

Any Toyota Phils. insiders out there? Can anyone tell me when Toyota will release 2.0V Red Mica? All the casas my wife and I went to/called said that they don't have an idea. We would just like to make sure if the wait would be too long (3months or more) or that the dealers really just want to make a sale at the cost of being transparent. Thanks

Smart Driving School and A1 are using the new Altis for their students. Again nothing wrong here just the students are really lucky to get to practice on new cars.

Hi Bros! Kindly guide me here:

I've reached 1k so I'm scheduled for PMS. Questions are:

    1. Regular, semi or fully synthetic?
    2. Same prices ba sa lahat ng toyota centers? If not, saan pinakamura?
    3. I noticed nagrerev ang makina mag-isa kahit naka-idle (tumataas rpm to almost 1 from 0.5). Is this normal?
    4. I've been quoted sa rear parking sensors at 5.7k (2-eye) and 7.5k (4-eye). Plus 400 each eye pa daw if body color. Is this standard in all Toyota? They said sa kanila lang dapat magpalagay or else void warranty (800 lng actually real price nito sa banawe). Wala na ba tayong choice then?

    Kindly enlighten us.

    Thank you!
