Dapat walang top off charge because they dont change the oil filter anyways 😂😂😂

The oil filter is good for 10k but they insist on having it changed every 5k ..greedy bastards.

Guys, ask ko lang lalo na sa mga naka manual. Normal lang ba yung tacometer na nabagsak from .9 to .6RPM? Pansin ko kasi pagbukas yung aircon tapos nagpapalamig, nabagsak sya sa .6 tapos after ilang sec balik ulit sa .9.. Kasi sa innova and fortuner namin hindi naman ganun. Pero matic kasi both.

    maybe...
    1. the outgoing body...has defects that we are not aware of yet...; or
    2. competition is fierce.

Marami na kong kapareho ng rims, Dubshop recently restocked eh. It was a good year of being unique. [emoji13]

Then again, I haven't seen any other black Altis with clear tints and rims like mine...

Actually, I have not seen anything like it so far or maybe I'm just not noticing. Like mine, most altises I see on the road have their stock rims.

Got my Gray 1.6 G MT Altis this week. Medyo naninibago pa ako. Getting to know each other phase pa, ika nga. Since MT siya ano po tamang timing to shift to the next gear to attain maximum fuel efficiency? Also ano magandang paint protection pwede palagay dito?

Congrats on your new car. The optimal rpm to shift depends on the car's load and the road's incline. Generally though, I shift between 1,500-2,000 rpm when I'm alone (or with 1-2 passengers) on a flat road. If the car is full and/or I'm going uphill, I shift up at around 2,500-3,000 rpm.

More than just the rpm, if you want to achieve better efficiency, avoid accelerating and braking hard. Be as smooth and gradual with your pedal input. Avoid going out during rush hours too, if you can. My rush hour traffic FC is about 7 km/L but during the weekend it goes up to 9 km/L. On highway driving, I get 15-16 km/L.

For paint protection, I just have my car waxed every 3 months. But some people avail of glass coating (around 8-10k) which prevents swirl marks and minor scratches for about a year or two.

Thanks Jut. I'm trying to shift around 2,000 RPM. Nasanay lang ako sa driving habit ko dati na I'm listening to the sound of the engine when shifting, tahimik kasi yung Altis ngayon . Pero so far I'm getting around 11.5 km/L mixed and hindi naman gaanong traffic sa area ko (Clark, Pampanga). So far I like the FC I'm getting and enjoying this new Altis. Have not tried computing the FC via full tank method yet.

I'm looking at that Glass coating option din. Kaya lang wala ako makita dito sa area ko. Looks like if I'll go into that route, will have it done in Manila.

Good day sir. Im planning to get 1.6G matic. Since you recently acquired your unit, may I ask which dealer gives the best offer at least for cash basis. Toyota commonwealth is giving 40k discount with free lto but insurance not included.all standard freebies included.
    Thanks sa info guys

I think the highest possible discount for the Altis is 40k. I got mine last month from Toyota Otis. Straight Cash payment - 40k discount - Free Lto - Standard freebies - Insurance not included though. Actually the sales person gave me two options, it's either 40k discount or 53k discount but I would need to pay for the Lto (13.2k). I hope this helps.

Why is my altis missing the current speed display? Is this only for 2.0 variant?

Just took a screenshot of 11th gens * youtube doing 0-210 runs [emoji14] and noticed he have digital speedometer * his MID reading 186km/h. My 1.6v doesn't have that option

Well, it's easier to listen to the engine sound than to look * the tacho. Yun lang wala kana maririnig kasi sobrang tahimik nga 😂
