^ its totally different ..pag inapakan mo yung accelerator you can hear high rev..wala yung parang "kick" ng non cvt at...do corolla ph has paddle shifter?

I saw one on the road yesterday. IMO, it's not as eye-catching or drool-inducing like, say, the Elantra or Lancer EX when they first came out. Parang Civic FB ang dating nya, more matured, classy.

I hope Sir Niky/Ghosthunter release a review for the Corolla soon.

^ that's usually the case of Toyotas. They don't have the most fantastic or eye turning designs but they will usually age better as time goes by. Others that may have a fantastic design sometimes suddenly look old when the new model comes along.

they're all into the ray-ban look.. honda city and civic, toyota altis and vios..
but the mitsubishi galant pioneered in it way back in the mid-90s.. and it still looks good today.. better than the hondas and toyotas today, because it is not as cluttered as these new 'uns, in my opinion

Same here, I don't like the rims of the 2.0V. If I'm going to get this, it will be the first mod on the list!

Torsion bars are here to stay. They're compact and simple (and cheap). Leave the IRS to the performance cars.

ang una kong napansin ang laki ng blind spot nya sa pillars unlike sa civic FD na may salamin dun for extra visibility...

then the rest is okey naman na..

yun DRL sa 2.0 pdeng gayahin ng mga 1.6 kasi yun pwesto ng DRL same sa pwesto ng park light... onting modification lang sa suking gawaan ng LED solved na :D

next ccheck ko 1.6 V :D

Yes you can.

IMO, a good practice to pick up is to be patient when shifting between P-R-N-D. Some people have the habit of shifting between D and R fast, and immediately pressing the gas while the transmission is still catching up or shifting from reverse to forward motion (or vice versa).

good afternoon po mga sir at mam. newly registered member and hoping to purchase my very first car. itong altis 2014 ang target ko sana. visited toyota otis earlier to check yung deals nila. ask ko lang po sana if may blue variant ba na ma-release dito? sabi kasi sakin ng SA na nakausap ko wala daw dito available na ganon color. sa ibang bansa raw meron. is this true?

^ most likely they won't have that variant. Toyota Philippines is known to be skimpy on color choices available locally.

Don't like the rims either. Sana they stuck to the conventional clean OEM look rims. But hey, it's a welcome change for Toyota to put in an aftermarket look rims to a stock unit that is non-TRD.

Looks very good on dark brown and grey metallic by the way. (IMO)
