mukhang carryover engines parin gamitin, hopefully mas magaan ito para medyo gumanda consumption ng 2.0v

With all due respect, i dont think mas magaan ang weight nito otherwise di ito magiging stable sa high speed.
Better yet consider the 1.6L variant if you want a better FC and but not the 2.0L :-)

actually 1st time ng Toyota locally. Hindi rin wide spread sa line up nila ang CVT unlike say, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Subaru.

CMIIW but isn't the previous gen 2.0 a CVT?

Ooops! Sorry, yes. CVT din nga pala yun. But still di wide spread ang CVT sa line up nila like other makes. Mortality rates is still unknown. Since it is fairly new.

Hmm, parehas kaya CVT gamit nila ng Subaru, since Toyota owns I think 15% of that company?

Anyway, kung maisipan nila ermats palitan un sasakyan nila nito MT siguro kukunin nila. Power windows at side mirrors lang sana un E trim

Yung current, power naman. Wala lang keyless entry.

Thanks renzo. Sana meron pero not a deal breaker naman kung walang keyless entry. Pang old school =)

But between this and the Ranger, I'll go for the Ranger . Mas utilitarian.

Nice colors for the Gen 11 Corolla , glad it's not limited to monochromatic shades of black and white anymore.

    Pesteng 11th gen yan!

Di ko na tuloy alam kung ito ang kukunin ko or Ranger XLT. Baka irefund ko tuloy yung reservation ko sa ford.

^ i'm planning to get the 11th gen for myself but di ko matiis si erpats kasi gustong gusto talaga niya ng pick up to the point na nagpa-reserve na ako since mahaba ang pila. Gift ko sana sa kanila ni ermats.

We'll see if it's worth it kapag nilaunch na.

Altis gamit ko dati (10th gen) tapos Ranger kotse ko ngayon. The Ranger is more car-like than you'd expect when it comes to creature comforts - spacious, complete features (voice control and auto headlights/wipers, anyone?) and looks modern both in and out. Sobrang naappreciate ko rin yung ride height niya and durable suspension.

Biggest drawbacks - not as comfortable as an Altis on long drives, walang trunk (unless gumastos ka ng 30k for the roller lid), very difficult to maneuver especially in tight parking spaces, daming blind spots. These are all inherent problems of pickups though, and it must be said that the Ranger is still the best mix of modern and utilitarian among all pickups in the market.

OT: Gen 2 City may problema sa CVT diba?
Go for the CVT. I don't think it's a deal breaker and it should be tested well enough for Toyota to bring it in.

The front looks too much like a Vios though. A wide Vios.

Don't really like the new face of Toyota vehicles lately, Vios, Corolla and Rav4. Maybe it's just me.

Damn, based on that spec sheet, sobrang good buy nung 1.6G. Unlike the previous gen, now mas konti ang difference compared to the V. Also, the 2.0V finally differentiates itself more from the 1.6 variants, most especially through larger rims.
