I've owned both brands (Honda and Toyota) extensively enough and so far i've been happier with the Toyotas whether they be brand new or second hand purchases. The Hondas are more fun to drive but as to overall and long-term ownership, the Toyota seem to age better and comes out to be my preferred choice for my needs and wants. I grew up as a Nissan guy though... until Nissan Motor Phils. slowed down in bringing out the new and good stuff locally.
Can anyone recommend lowering springs for the altis? Around 1 inch drop for front and rear. Upgraded to Corolla XRS rims.

Sirs, mas ok ba na 1.6v ang kunin ko instead of the G. Aside from the rims and skirts what else do should i consider getting this variant. Thanks.

Yup, the V is worth it (rear sun shade, 16"rims, different instrument cluster, side skirt, etc.).
* buying the rims and other stuff abroad, IMO, if you're buying from abroad, better to have it shipped to a relative's house then have them cargo it to you.
My car's warranty just expired and I need to have my 30k PMS na.
Where can I buy the oil, oil filter and spark plugs?

Is yours a Gen 10 or Gen 10.5?
If you're using a a Gen 10, the best oil filter to use would be the Baldwin B233. If you can't hack it to Volmax at Binondo, you can drop Bayen a line and he can ship it to you. (09228522936). For spark plugs, NGK BKR6E-11 or Denso is fine; you can get it at the Toyota CASA if it's convenience you're after (price difference is negligible anyway).
For oil, I'd guess you'll stick to full synthetic. Royal Purple perhaps? Motul? Liqui Moly? Zic? You can find this at Speedyfix, Roadstar (the Fort), or some of the online sellers. Brakes would also need cleaning; for me I usually buy 3M brake cleaner from True Value.
If you have a Gen 10.5, the only place to get the oil filter is OEM at the Toyota CASA or suking Toyota parts store. You cna buy the parts you need at the CASA then take the car to your suking tindahan.
