after having a problem with toyota quezon avenue (they sprayed clear coat on my car) during my 1st 1000 check up, shifted my services to toyota shaw. so far so good until today. had them attach courtesy lights but due to their negligence, they also left a deep scratch that was obviously due to a screw driver hitting the the panel. almost went amok when i saw that. Although they offered to repaint the panel for free, still got irritated as it means i have to make a long trip from work to leave the car with them again. :whoa:

harmless naman change oil sa toyota makati..

but dahil sa sobrang dami ng customers dun... hindi na nila i-lift yung car.. i-park lang nila sa tabi then sabay change ng oil at filter and no further check sa vehicle.. they don't even bother to check anything under your car

pag kasalanan nila you can ask for a service vehicle.

A friend of mine also had horrible experiences with Toyota QA. He now goes to Toyota Balintawak beside SM North Edsa for servicing. He's very pleased with the quality of work. May suki na rin siya among the service advisors, si Aris Gregorio. Look for him daw if ever you decide to have your Toyota serviced there.

agree ako kay automahn, we haven't encountered any major problems sa PMS service ng toyota north...

meron lang extra charge na around 300php sa mga PMS nila compared sa ibang toyota casa.. they called it 'care care kit', they basically spray your rubber mouldings and lithium grease the doors. next time na magpapa-PMS ako sa toyota north, hindi ko na kukunin yung "car care kit" na ito.. nasisira lang niya nya yung rubber seal ng mga doors including the paint..

OT: what are courtesy lights? Yun ba yung sa ilalim ng door?

Nagpapa-casa lang kami hanggang 20TKm, after that sa labas na lang.

Toyota North is OK. I recommend Rolly Gray.

Agree din ako dun sa car care kit na yan. next visit ko, hindi ko kukunin yan.

nagtaka nga ako nung mag PMS ako sa manila bay and makati.. wala silang care care kit dun and liha lang sila sa brakes..

one thing I like sa toyota north eh ini-spray nila ng chemical (gas ata) yung brake pads/disk/rotors to clean it and spray some part of the brake system with a paint para hindi gaano mag rust..

sa mga regular na nag PMS sa toyota north, lumabas din ba yung primer sa car ninyo kung saan dumidikit yung rubber moulding (due to rubber conditioner na ina-apply nila?
sa 2000 revo namin ganon nangyari..

Am currently having the Rav4 serviced at Toyota Shaw Ortigas. They also have a free shuttle service to and from Ortigas Center (Robinson's, MegaMall). So far so good. The service center is really clean and spacious.

Naku TQA nanaman! before when I had my AE92 dyan kami nagpapaservice sablay talaga gawa dun. nabasag nila powerwindow panel sa corolla ko noon. nung pinalitan nabasag pa nila yung pinalit ginamitan pa nung sealant para sa windows para lang dumikit. ewan ko ba iisipin mo casa na nga yan kung magtrabaho parang glaing small time talyer mga mechanic nila.

may thread pa noon sa kotse about this. Better have your Toyota serviced in other Toyota casas.

Well as they say s__T happens... ok lang yan accident yan e d tlaga maiiwasan minsan, yesterday yun sign ng Shop ko tumumba and unfortunately hitting a Revo, yun gasgas yun Panels nya kaya we have to repair it. Sometimes Things like these do happen just learn to be cool na lang and think of a way na maayos amicably.

toyota pasong tamo? sobrang daming tao doon. that's where i got my car but i never let them do any of the pms

pasong tamo kami pa pms though 1st 1000 km check up pa lang mukhang ok naman on time naman nila i-release yun vehicle kailangan lang magpa-appointment ka para hindi ka na pipila ng matagal pag wala dapat maaga ka.
one more, libre coffee dun sa honda kasi hindi.

yup..pwede po panoorin lahat ng PMS na gagawin sa car ninyo at pwede din panoorin yung PMS ng ibang car.. marami din ako natutunan sa mga mechanic ng casa during PMS ..

wala na silang checklist ng items ng car pag PMS para mabilis ang work sa car ninyo..

Revogsx, hindi naman nagkaroon ng paint problem yung sasakyan ko. Well, once pa lang ako nag-paservice sa kanila (nung 10K pa lang, after I got dissappointed with toyota ortigas and marikina). I'll check how my paint survives the spray chemicals that they put. Thanks for the warning.

from year 2000 to 2003 dun lagi pa PMS yung revo kaya from first 1K to 55K PMS (except 3 PMS) dun lagi sa toyota north.. kaya ayun labas na primer kung saan dikit yung rubber sa body hehe..

Maari din na manipis talaga ang pintura ng revo. Kasi yung FX 96 ko, lumabas din ang primer nung mga door portions (in contact with the rubber weatherstrips) on the 4th year. Madami din akong nabasa na mga complaints (sa Kotse forum) from revo owners on the paint quality of revos.
