Just found this over the net.

The Belta is based on the current Toyota Vitz hatch and COULD be the next-gen Vios if its going to built in Thailand.

Sana nga pero mukhang some of the design elements ay parang sa next gen Corolla.maybe Toyota Thailand would tone down or change some of the design elements.

The rear reminds me of some old Hyundai models (yuck! ) I would also be lying if I call the front handsome, but thankfully, the dash is very much improved.

Yah... I wish they'd put those instruments where they'd fall closer to the eye... If they're really concerned about production costs, they could make the molding separate from the dash, and use the molding on the other side for an airbag... no need to make the driver take his eyes so far off the road.

I don't like any of the body kit at all... it's too busy, too many disjointed lines... not fitting for what is supposed to be a "back-to-basics" car.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

It's much better than the current City, but I don't think it's the best they could have done.

I saw these pics too when I was in carspyshots.net.

So far, I'm liking the exterior & interior design very much.

The quality of the dash is neat and I hope that auto climate control will not be a JDM-only feature.

And just like its Hatchback sibling, the instrument meters are in the center. Since they share the same platform, it is obvious & logical to note that the meters will always be in the center and it should always remain that way.

All in all, congrats to Toyota for the creation of another neat vehicle .

Looks like just a "face-lift" model. This , I can say is V2.0 of the Vios with some nice touches like missing centre console box/arm rest. Updated dash, MZ3 like vents (thats nice). I would say a decent face-lift. Kinda too much of an MZ3 copy from many places, are you sure its not a photoshopped job ?. These pics, I mean.

sayang mas gusto ko pa rin ang rear ng vios! pero improved na yung tranny "gated" na design nya e! sana yung harap mas mababa pa para mas maganda ang "tindig" parang sa mazda3! at mas MALUWANG na!
