yung price is not yet confirmed pero you cant compare this to innova depende sa pangangailangan ng tao yan. tama kayo 750k range will hit the market of innova but m/t naman yung innova it depends talaga sa tao pwede 750k yung avanza pero top of the line na sya.

Right, I think its underpowered. For me, I'll just wait a year or 2 after its release. Knowing Toyota, they might even put a 1.6 vvti or 2.0 vvti on later models (like the tamaraw fx and revo).

After seeing the specs, one thing is immediately obvious to the average car buyer: This is indeed a Micro-Innova.

The only dilemma I can see for a car buyer here is the trade-off between getting an auto-transmission versus getting a roomy car when comparing with Innova J. I don't even think that this Avanza's "top-of-the-line" version really matters with its limited features and looks.

The 2.0 would be pointless. According to older reviews, the transmission of the 1.3 is optimized for quick acceleration, negating any possible sluggishness from having so little torque.

It really is like the APV. Seats seven but kinda narrow.

Too bad it took them so long to decide to bring it here. The Innova is a much better product, and it's already impeding into the Avanza's market.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

additional wish.... sana may diesel version :D kahit 1.4L or 1.5L CRDI man lang tulad nung sa hyundai accent. the crdi of the accent can put out 114bhp *4000rpm and 241 Nm * 2000 rpm. Now that's what you call a decent sedan diesel engine , euro spec...

Good thing! I've been waiting for it. Pricing will be the crucial factor.

Pricing is key. If its cheap and bang for the buck then add the badge of toyota and you get another hit on their hands. But i think in these hard times a diesel engine is a must.

dapat matuto sila sa fortuner.. tipong sabihin nila new avanza P599K (d lower the better)top of the line! pero to get a unit dapat you must get ihf/insurance/leatherseat/dvd/mp3/karaoke/mags/tint/hid/gps(kahit di pa pwede dito lagay na rin nila, future proof kung baga)/muffler/k&n filter lahat ng gusto nilang ilagay pa!!! ! so lalabas mga P999k (the higher the better)!
