mga sir..ano po kaya problem ng aircon ni vanzy ko wherein bigla na lang ayaw umandar. even buga ng hangin ay wala. check ko ung fuse sa engine panel ay ok naman.. pero below ng steering wheel na fuse ay wala laman ung slot #28 which ayon sa manual ay aircon system din..wala po ba talaga kaya un? pa help naman po..

I'm planning to change the red stock speedometer needles of my avanza to white ones. Are there some shops that do such modifications?

Good day mga sirs. Can anyone recommend a good and trusted mechanic from Bulacan? As much as possible po sana is yung may alam talaga sa proper maintenance ng Avanza natin. I got a 2010 Avanza 1.5G 2nd hand. The first owner have it maintained sa casa, and I'm planning sana to do the same pero since medyo tight ang budget(kakapanganak lang kasi ni misis), mas okay sana kung sa mga magaling na mekaniko nalang magpa maintain. Since first car ko to and wala pa naman akong alam/kakilala na mechanic sa lugar namin, Im trying my luck here na baka may mairecommend kayo sakin. Just for periodic maintenance, change oil, or anything na makakatulong para mamaintain ng maayos yung sasakyan. Im from Bulakan, Bulacan and hoping na sana mejo malapit sa proximity lang nung area yung marerecommend sakin. Madami ako nakikitang auto shops malapi samin (Guiguinto, Malolos, Bocaue) pero syempre, iba pa din yung may first hand experience ang magrerecommend sakin. Maraming salamat po sa magrereply at mabuhay ang mga Avanza owners! ;)

for change oil and such, i just go to the gas station. petron has a promo of change oil de hecho derecho.
pag maingay na ang suspension, i go to the auto parts stores and their squad of tambay mechanics. then to servitek for alignment.
for tires and battery, i call the store/shop first before going, so's i get the better prices.
for something more brand-specific, dyan na ako pupunta sa casa.
for collision repair, i use casa in-house insurance. i just bring it to them and leave the car: "call me when you are finished".
heh heh.

of course, the assumption is, the owner knows some amount of basic automotive mechanics.

Tama si sir, sa totoo lang, yung PMS nga sa casa, parang sindikato na kung iisipin.

Kung regular maintenance at ayaw mo na sa casa, you can even DIY for change oils or go to your nearest gasoline station.

For the other minor repairs not involving the engine, you go to any auto parts store then have their resident mechanic replace the parts.

First post ko po ito sana matulungan nyo po ako any advise is welcome. Ito po probs ko ngDP po ako 20% 125k for toyota avanza E MT at Toyota Quezon Ave. last May 15 2014 sabi ng ahente 2 to 3days daw release nd unit pro up to now May 21 2014 wala p din yong unit,TIA.

pull out mo ung pinang dp mo. lipat ka sa ibang dealer, try my agent izza from north edsa. di mangangako na di natutupad.

next time wag ka magtitiwala sa mga sinasabi nang SA.. pwedeng mag down the same day na ilalabas mo na yung sasakyan.. yung mga freebies make sure put it in writing..

ipanalangin mo rin sir na hindi ka na 123 ng SA mo.. napakarami ng manloloko ngayon..

kung ako nasa kalagayan mo ipu pull out ko yung DP ko.. baka mamaya lemon pa ang ibigay sayong unit..

kontakin mo na lang binigay SA ni Bokista.. maayos na kausap yun..

Sino po may idea pano maglagay ng towbar? saan po cia parte ng avanza kinakabit? 2014 avanza 1.5G A/T ung unit ko. gusto ko kasi magkabit towbar mounted bike rack...

^hindi ba keyless entry yung G? Yung sa in-laws ko brand new din kaso E variant.

Diba kung keyless entry kahit susian mo yan mag alarm pa din yan dahil engaged yung alarm you need the remote to open it without triggering the alarm.

Pero for peace of mind papalitan mo na nga lang din door locks.

Had a very interesting experience when i tried to reserve an avanza, went to quezon avenue to inquire if they have stock of avanza automatic 1.5 and salesman said yes and no waiting time. So when i asked for the best price for a cash purchase he went up to his manager and said "pang anim pa po kayo baka next month na magkaroon ng stock." Ha? Talk about no waiting time. I get the feeling that when its cash purchase they do not prioritize your order unlike those with financing.

it is common knowledge, they make more money on installment sales than cash sales.
btw, "baka next month" is just 12 days away.
if you really are desperate to get one the soonest, try the other casas. maybe you can get your unit by monday..
