I have read in Inquirer page A29 today Jan. 15 that Shark Accessories already has a power window mechanism for Innova J. I can't wait for them to have one for Avanza J too. Maybe theirs will be cheaper compared to original Toyota power windows installed.

good news mga bro, ayon sa kakilala ko na SA yung shipment ng avanza parating na daw this coming jan 16, di ko lang alam kung ilang days ang paglabas nun sa pier. sana mbigyan na lahat ng nag aabang para pare pareho tayong masaya.

Avanza owners: Do you have a problem with your lighter socket? Mine is easily removed from the dashboard. The service advisor said that it happens when an adapter (celphone) is used. Noong una, may pinihit lang sa loob ng socket naayos na sa Toyota. Hindi ko naman magawa ngayon. Do you have any idea how they do it? I can visit the dealer in a week time pa. Thanks!

What your SA said is a load of crap. :nono:

Cigarette lighters are designed to be used with adaptors (since not everyone smokes in their vehicles) since the 1990s. Heck, check your manual and it would state there that you can use it as such but for only a certain amount of power (50 watts usually).

Thanks! He said that Avanza socket is a bit smaller. This is a design defect.

Hi po to everyone. happy new year. first time ko magka-brand new. avanza 1.3j red got it before christmas at wala pa ding plaka until now. pero nasa bataan naman ako so di nman mahigpit dito. 2 pa lang yata kami na meron dito. yabang! Yung isa white pa. anyways, sobrang mahal ng mga pampapogi ng avanza sa casa. like in toyota sn fernando where i got it, 3x ang price ng mga side visor etc etc. lumuwas po ako at nakita ko po sa banawe qc 1,350 lang yung side visor. 3800 sa casa! sa kanila lang pala kumukuha yung mga casa na yan. mas maganda pa yung nakuha kong side visor kasi silver yung tatak na avanza. eh dun sa nakita ko sa casa parang embossed lang. binili daw lahat ng casa yung stocks niya pero this week daw ddating yung mga new stocks nya. kumpleto siya pati side step ata yun. SPACETECH CAR ACCESSORIES po yung name ng tindahan. mas malapit po sa e rodriguez. konting lakad lang right side kung sa e rod kayo galing. mabait yung guy na tindero medyo mataba. Yun lang po.

Btw, ang problema ko po parang nahihirapan ako sa 1st and 2nd gear. palagi ako namamatayan ng makina. ganun din po ba yung sa inyo? Bakit kaya? galing po kasi ako sa matic na space wagon. pero yung isa kong vanette na manual hindi naman ako nahihirapan. baka naninibago lang ako dito sa bago.:newbie:

ayaw daw ng mga drivers nila kasi malaki tapos maraming bagahe na mailalagay....

naitanong ko kasi sa driver ng R&E ng minsang magtaxi ako.....
ayaw daw ng mga drivers nila kasi malaki tapos maraming bagahe na mailalagay....
mga taxi nga naman oh...... pagmagbubuhat eh ayaw, bigayan mo ng malaking tip ang bilis nila.... tsk... tsk... tsk....

Since we got our unit on the same period(sometime at the end of December-i got my unit Dec. 23) and we even have the same model if i remember right...kaya lang champagne ang sa iyo then red mica ang sa akin...my question is nakuha mo na ba plaka mo? and with the sticker na ba?

12km/liters on highway - but this one is 12.3 as i remember.......

Take note that this is before the 1K checkup.

My wife now is the one who's using the avanza now AFTER the 1K checkup...i don't know now the FC.....

Pre, pareho nga sitwasyon natin ah.. wife ko na rin ang gumagamit since dito na ulit ako sa labas naghanapbuhay pambili ng accessories ng avanza.. . 3 weeks lang kami nagsama nung avanza ko .

wala pang balita dun sa plaka ko. buti ka pala pwede na ma pick-up yung sayo. anyway, try ko rin i-followup. nauna pa nga ako ng konte sayo since dec 21 yung sa akin. ok lang yan kahit walang sticker basta me plaka. meron naman sigurong registration certificate na binibigay ang LTO. tsaka bago naman yung sasakyan mo kaya alam na nag mga trapik enforcer na registered talaga yan for 3 years as long as may plaka na nakakabit.

Di ko pa naabot yang 12km/L . Hanggang 10km/L lng ako on mix city and highway driving.

Sa indonesia, may kaparehas ang Avanza tawag nila Daihatsu Xenia. Parehong pareho ng Avanza ang design and was told the engine is from Toyota din. Mas mura nga lang since mag kaiba ang logo nila. Di ba may share din naman ang Toyota sa Daihatsu?

^They are the same. Toyota actually owns Daihatsu.
