Yun J variant may RCA preout na yun HU. also if your gonna put some subs dapat palitan mo yun mga speakers ng seps with a separate amp with crossover para magbalanse ang bass with the mids n tweets. very important is may crossover yun amp para di sabog ang labas ng sound ng seps. the amp should be set sa high pass filter ng crossover to remove the bass kundi puputok yun seps mo o masusunog ang tweeters. also yun amp mo dapat kasing lakas din ng amp ng subs mo kundi puro bass lang ang lalabas na malinaw. i used a stealth sub sakin para di sagabal sa likod kasi sayang yun 3rd row seats kung malaking abc box ang nakalagay sa subs mo. ask mo si jeff kung ilan watts kelangan mo fir the 4channel amp w/ crossover para di matalo ng subs mo.

Yes, you need to replace front speakers with separates and a dedicated amplifier to power it. Yung isa amplfier mo kasi is for the 2 10'inch subs mo. Do you plan to replace your head-unit? Wala kasi RCA pre-out ang HU ng G and J variants.

Yung sa akin na 2 DIN Kenwood HU that comes with the Avanza G,may RCA pre-out sa lower right corner at the back. 2 Front (L+R) and 2 Rear/Subwoofer (L+R) pre-out with built-in amp that is capable of driving a bass boost level up to +18dB.

By the way, what exactly are the 2007 updates for the Avanza to go with the higher prices? I thought I saw dual-airbags on the Avanza 1.5G I saw at Toyota's Greenhills display a few weeks back.

one question pa po.....magkano na kaya ang magiging insurance natin by next year 3month na lang kasi 2008 na....meron kasi ako friend na taga insurance (henry sy daw owner) he offered me 10k for next year insurance ko pero di ko pa natanong yung coverage nya at participation, pero pwede ko pa i bargain.

better if palitan mo rin yun front speakers kasi pang vocals lang yun front speakers natin. if wala kang subs na ikakabit mas ok ang 3 way coaxial speakers. pero kung may subs mas maganda yun 2 way separates para mas claro ang labas ng accoustics mo. targa is a nice brand na mura for separates. no idea for 3way coaxials. also invest ka na sa 4 channel amp with crossover. bili ko sa alpine 4channel amp 3000watts is 1900 sa raon. 2500 ito sa autocentro cubao with installation na. very nice amp na ito for its price

I"ve been an avid fan of this Forum since day 1 but I never got to put some inputs in this forum,got my 1.3j avanza last March pa and Finally I found time to give my inputs about our beloved MPV
I'm using size 15" mags, 195/R50 falken tires and pinakarga ko ng Nitrogen yung tires,correct me if I'm Wrong pro for me ok naman performance halos pareho lang sila ng ordinary air kaso advantage nung Nitro filled tires is matagal sya ma deflate and laging constant ang tire pressure so lahat ng gulong balance and nakukuha mo Optimum performance ng lahat ng apat na gulong IMHO.

average speed ko is around 80kph Normal highway,
city driving 40-60kph
FC ko is 11km/lL City driving and 15km/L pag NLEX

ah talaga bro, you're referring to the 86120-YZA60 HU ng J variant? I've check kasi yung owner's manual and wala siya nakalagay na may rca pre-out. Well that's good to hear na meron nga siya rca pre-out. Mukhang I can scrap my plans of getting a new HU and just buy a decent 4 channel amplifier. Meron na kasi ako Daichi stealth sub (6 inch) and Targa Xseries 6.5 separates. Di ko pa nga lang napainstall kasi torn ako of getting a new HU or an Amplfier.

Question for Harryparrot:

1) Kaya ba ng battery natin yun power demand ng amplifier (for the separates) and an amplified sub?
2) Nagpainstall ka din ng set of separates for the rear doors? Saan mo nilagay yung tweets nung separates. Kasi common yung separates sa front door nilalagay sa edge ng dashboards yung tweets?
3) I would assume the Alpine 4 channel amplifier you bought is dedicated for the separates. Pano na yung connection nung stealth sub if the amplfier is already using the single rca pre-out nung HU? Meron ba way to connect the stealth sub to the amplfier to get a signal?

Avanza G yung akin kaya 2DIN kenwood HU nito, so kung may RCA pre-out ito, is this capable of replacing front speakers w/ separates w/ amp also?

*MMMan, Yung HU mo naman can power the separates speakers pero di niya ma maximize yung potential nung speakers kasi not enough power to reach yung desired mid bass and crisp sound. With RCA pre-out puwede ka magpainstall ng amplifier to power these puppies.

Maganda yung Kenwood 2DIN HU ng avanza G. Far better than our Fujitsu HU. Tiis muna tayo. Madugo din maghulog ng monthly installement for car loan.

CTPL (Compulsary Third Party Liability): lahat ng vehicles, kailangan nito para ma-register. Sagot nya pag may nadisgrasya tayong tao while using our car. Around P600/year. Sa ating Avanza, since 3 years na ang registration, good for 3 years na ang binayaran natin.

Yung isang insurance, Comprehensive naman. Voluntary ito. Sagot nya ang damage pag nabangga ang car.

Sa G, from 1 airbag (driver side only), naging 2 (plus front passenger) and nagkaroon ng ABS.
