Galing lang ako kahapon kina Chris sa Spacetech (Banawe). Buti umabot ako kasi hanggang 5:30 pm lang yung shop nila. Nagpakabit ako ng window visor (deflector) and tail light extension. Package na at P2,500.00.

Meron na din sila (upgrades for J variant)
- spoiler with light (ikaw magpapainstall at pa body color) i forgot quote niya sa akin.
- fog lamp (ikaw papa install) P1,1k
- Chrome Door sill
- Chrome Door handle
- Chrome Gas lid cover
- Hood guard P2k (next project ko )
- Back-up sensor (ikaw papainstall) P2k

Ownertype napuna mo ba kung yung Hood Guard pag naikabit eh tatakip dun sa chrome part ng hood?

Yung fender flare nakito mo ba? baka may comment ka. Sabi nung nakausap ko sa spacetech mukhang lalapad ng konti dating ng avanza with the fender flare and body cladding. Thanks.

bro it's just above the chrome grill. sa ilalim ng hood yun i screw to fasten. I think tawag talaga dun ay hood/bug deflector. Very common sa mga SUVs. Sino ba dito naka hood deflector na? Pecture naman po.

I have not seen the fender flare, para wala nabanggit si Chris na meron nun.

Actually di ko nakita. Tumawag lang ako pero di si Chris yata yung nakausap ko. Sabi niya may fender flare na daw. Ako rin I want to see it sana.

WOw! Tagal ko di nakapost. Dami na nating Avanza owners! Congrats sa mga new owners. Di kayo magsisi sa decision nyo to get Avanza. I know I didn't!

To share my ride's FC from Dec 08, 2006 to Feb 5, 2007:
Avanza 1.3 Red M/T.
Driving speed average 30-60km/hr (maliit lang kasi area na binabyahe
namin), except 1 entry.
Use both front and back Aircons. Speed 2 in front, 1 at back, thermostat
about 1/4 from the lowest setting
All of my tank up are full tanks, at the same station and from the same
pump, except 1 entry. Tank ups done usually late in the afternoon.
Passengers usually 2 adults and 3 small kids.

1. Shell Unleaded (ung Pinakamura) - 253km/37.99Li = 6.6km/Li*
2. Shell Uneaded - 269km/40.103Li=6.7km/Li*
3. Shell Unleaded - 141km/16.38Li = 8.6km/Li**
4. Shell Unleaded - 420km/39.49Li = 10.6km/Li***
5. Petron XCS - 296km/39.87Li = 7.4km/Li****
6. Shell Unleaded - 302km/39.93Li = 7.5km/Li

COMMENTS:
* The low FC results may be explained by excessive Aircon usage. The kids are left in the car with my Kumander while I do my rounds and they do not turn the AC off. Now they know better. Also had adjustments done to my ECU after the servicing...
**This was not a full tank refuel. We topped the tank in preparation for the 160km trip to our Toyota Dealership for 1000km servicing.
***This is the highest FC we got. This is due to the lengthy trip to and back from the dealership (420kms total). Plenty of highway to rev up the engine! Fastest speed was 135km/hr! Wow! Pero held the speed for about 2 secs lang ha. Just wanted to see how far I can push it. Did not feel any vibrations, ride was still stable. Parang kaya pa nga nya mas mabilis pa e. hehe.
**** Changed to higher octane fuel on suggestion by several posts here. Same results so changed back to good ole cheap unleaded. hehe

update lang sa FC survey, here's the initial profile of respondents:

1. got 4 volunteers inlcuding me (two J; 1 G m/t; 1 di pako sure). NOTE: i need volunteer/s sa g variant a/t.
2. re fuel: 2 are using shell unleaded; the other 2 are using caltex silver... hmmm... wala bang may FC dyan for caltex gold dyan? hehe
3. i'm taking in all other info but still thinking how to simplify them and include them in the results. so, if you think there are other useful info, pm nyo lang ako.
4. re: traffic conditions: i hope we can limit it to 3 choices/categories at most. kung walang violent reaction, i will limit it to the ff: a) city driving; b) highway; c) mixed. For those who will submit FC data; kindly indicate your answer to #4 per FC (plzzzz!)

hello po san pablo laguna po ba cnasabi nyo???? dun po kc ako nakapila pang 10 daw po ako, kanina po tumawag sa akin sabi may available sa silver eh ang gusto ko nga po champagne....

hirap talaga nitong kulay na to.... pero ok lang basta yun ang gusto ko...

Correct puro silver 1.5 m/t yung dumating a few days ago...yung
champagne talaga mahaba ang pila, i opted for the red mica co'z
our city is satt silver w/c is almost the same shade as the champagne!

Just got the confirmation that my unit is now available...
So, luluwas ako manila 21st, TYT san pablo will deliver the unit 22nd sa paco...hehehe then
punta muna sa spacetech, then drive back to bikol via the "southroad" 23rd!...thats around 500kms of breaking in.Whew!
