Toyota Avanza - darating ba dito sa 'Pinas

so bawal na gawing taxi ang vios. Parang matagal ko na narinig sa toyota yan hehehehe. Anyway, the Avanza is still more expensive than the base Vios (if we base it on what Bry posted above). Kung totoo yung price ng Avanza na 550k, mas mahal pa rin siya sa Vios because the Vios J is retailed at 543k.

carlocaraddict: Yup masmahal pa rin ng kaunti yung Avanza vs. the base model na Vios, pero for what it's worth mas-"bang for your buck" ang Avanza. Masmadaming pasahero masasakay eh. ;)

Pero I disagree na fleet sales for public transport groups ang bumubuhay sa Toyota. Madami din naman silang sales sa mga private users.

the car is nice i saw and ride in one when I was in Malaysia last June of this year. it has 7 seats! tamang tama sa typical pinoy family with 2-3 kids. pero mas okey sana kung me D-4D diesel version para tipid. eto first choice ko pero by next month ilalabas na yata ng hyundai yung Getz CRDi diesel version (from another thread)- i am starting to re-think coz Getz is a car released worldwide at patok sa europe unlike avanza na asean lang ang market. lets see....

meron ba ang Toyota na smaller D4D engine than the 2.5L found in the Innova, Fortuner and Hiace commuter?
mas maganda nga kung may diesel variant but i bet the 2.5L is too big for the Avanza.

btw, i also think drive layout is FR, like the old Lite Ace

matagal na meron ang toyota na 1.4Liter D4-D. eto yung fitted sa corolla europe models nila. kaya lang ayun, sa europe lang nila ni-release. buti pa hyundai yung units nila papunta europe, ino-offer din nila dito sa pinas (albeit strip down on safety features) pero same pa din engines.

Yung Vios ay puwede gawing taxi pero dapat two or more units ang kunin mo sa kanila(sa Alabang puwede).Ok lang kung gasoline version ng Avanza ang nandito kasi bagay naman sa body nya.

sori sir, di ko maintindihan yung text kaya di ko na naexplore yung site. pero since vios engine naman, siguro pareho lang ang hp at torque
