sa fx/revo, kelangan nila i-bring down ang cost.. so they don't bother to use lightweight parts/materials.. so kaya ang bigat ng body.. with a low tech engine pa hehe...

at dahil toyota..and basta price is right.. magiging mabenta ito kahit na walang kwenta engine ilagay nila hehe... toyota echo lang ang di mabenta dito dahil mahal..

i remember we had a 1st GEN Toyota Tamaraw back in the 80's... 2 bench-type seats sa magkabilang gilid that can seat 12 plus 3 sa harap... at 3K lang ang makina nun...

Yung nilabas dati nilang 2nd gen Hi-Ace way back 1978, laking kaha tapos 12R 1.6 lang ang makina, wala pang aircon hehehe

Kung di rin lang pangarera at personal na gamit, pwede na yan lalo pa at may vvt-i. BTW, reading from avanza forums (malaysia and indonesia) owners of avanza don't want avanza to be called CHEAP, sabi nila it's INEXPENSIVE!

Hey guys! Here are the inexpensive (below P1M) 7-and-up seaters, available so far:

Toyota - Innova (least expensive model is P718,000)
Chevrolet - Zafira (least expensive model is P895,000), from GM
Opel - Zafira (least expensive model is P895,000), also from GM
Kia -Sedona (least expensive model is P905,000)
Isuzu - Crosswind (least expensive model is P720,000 - XL)
Mitsubishi - Adventure (least expensive model is P690,000 - GLX)

Avanza will have the smallest engine when added to this list. So, I'm guessing, it'll be priced a little above P0.5M.

it's practical too... 1.3L vvti engine. sa mahal ng gaso ok lang hindi mabilis bastat makakarating sa pupuntahan. ayos na ayos din sa pamilya ko size ng avanza hehehe... maliliit lang naman kasi kami.

Pwede na rin kung ganyan ang presyo! I'm sure its going to be a good-seller sa Toyota again. By targeting different categories of car buyers of their new vehicles with good price points, its going to be another big year for Toyota!!
