Hi GUYS!

Bago lang ako dito, I'm also an FX owner. 2nd hand namin nabili, and I'm planning to restore it..

May mga minor problems lang yung FX, ung dsah board basag na saka yung parehong bumpers.

Need lang help nyo kung saan makakabili ng surplus na dashboard ska both bumpers... I'm also wanted to try to convert may headlights to a latest version.. kasi 1999 model yung FX ko eh... pwede kaya yun?

Sir, yun dashboard meron kang mabibilihan sa may tayuman..hindi ko alam yun exact na place pero meron don kasama ng mga nabibilihan ng upuan. yun ilaw naman, ang sakin hindi ko napalitan kasi wala DAW sukat...mga sir, paconfirm naman po kung tama yun sinabi sakin...

thanks for appreciating my old AUV. i also believe that old model vehicles that are well maintained at pormado are more interesting to look at than the usual new vehicles.

dito sa baguio, pagandahan ng tamaraw fx ang mga owners dito kaya marami ka makikita magagandang mga fx dito. marami ring fx dito ang naka 3C turbo engine. basta yong mga fx na nag oovertake ng mga revo and adventures sa mga akyatan dito sa baguio, mga 3C turbo makina nyan. makikita mo at mabibilis sila sa akyatan.

ano kayang brand ng side mirror ang fitted sa FX natin?
gusto ko kasing palitan yung OEM n mirror para maiba naman ang itsura....yung wala ng bakal sa upper portion....

Hi there. Newbie po ako. I was very fortunate i bumped in to your site. because of this site, i have managed to choose the best place to buy and setup my first and simple audio setup for my tamarraw FX. Budget price but bumabayo na sounds . Actually, Im abroad right now and my brother and uncle is maintaining the FX. I bought the second hand FX from a website last October 2009 mainly for my fathers service going to hospital for his check up. Bale 1997 model siya and 2C diesel engine. Nagustuhan ko siya kasi Newly Painted and OK pa daw yung makina according to my uncle plus talagang tipid sa diesel.kaso, needs upgrades and minor repairs kaya i decided to put a little bit of improvements

So far, Mainly this is what Ive done (finances and advice gamit ang site niyo eh ako since im here abroad at yung implementations is my brother and uncle) ;

1) Replace all 4 tires with new ones also its bolts
2) Steering wheel replacement, Hand Brakes, New Wiper and Wiper mechanism, tranka ng mga pintuan,4 window visors, Some Interiors nya
3) Lastly (so far ) nagpa setup ako ng simple Sound system consisting of a Pioneer HU (DEH-2150ub), pair of front seps, pair of rear seps and an active subwoofer.
(these 3 items already costs me 30k already )

I plan to upgrade more items the following year (Parang maaadict ako sa upgrades siguro dahil Its my first Airconditioned vehicle, I have an owner type jeep for 4 years - nabenta ko na last february). Upgrade ko more electronics, Exteriors (i.e mud guard, bull bars etc), security and alarm, seats, mags at pati yung underneath the hood nya (whew!!!)

My Inquiry sana if you can help me ;

1) Hindi gumagana yung odometer nya when i bought it pero yung the rest of the gauges are working, ano po kaya ang pwede ko gawin dito kasi gusto ko rin makita yung mileage ko eh
2) Gusto ko sana gawing malinis at flawless yung makina mismo, yung makintab at very presentable, maitim kasi yung makina. any one who knows who can do this and any idea how much it will cost me?
3) Same lang ba yung timing belt at Pump belt (did i spell it right) na tinutukoy ng uncle ko nung maputulan daw sila nun while driving.
4)ano pinagkakaiba ng mga models ng FX in terms of appearance and makina?

So far, ayun lang muna inquiry ko, Ok pa naman performance nya. Hindi ko kasi makita yung solution ng mga yan d2 sa so far. Ill be on vacation next month kaya i will have a much deserve taste of the fruits of my labor (and money )

ask ko lang. anybody has an idea kung magkano ang 2nd hand fx ngayon? balak ko kasi kumuha ng isa, at papalitan ko na ang tamaraw ko. na stuck up ang makina sa baha and fixing it would require at least siguro hindi magkalayo kung bili na lang ako ng fx.
Is a gasoline engine (7K) recommendable or I go for the diesel variant?

Toyota 7K engine malakas sa gasolina pero maintanance matipid naman at madaling troubleshoot pag nasira o ayaw umandar carburator type kasi.

Mga Sir may nakapag-try na ba sa inyo magpalit ng indiglo gauge para sa fx natin, kung meron na po eh pakituro naman po kung saan nyo nabili at madali lang ba magpainstall nito, FX ko nga pala eh gasoline variant at model 1997.

mga pare sino ho bang may diagram ng toyota tamaraw fx 7k yong connection ng mga hose yong papuntang caburator yong itim na maliliit pls help me naman kasi tinangal ng mekaniko dina maibalik kaya hirap umandar mayroon din dalawang connection doon sa vacuum ng distributor na hose thanks a lot sa help nyo

Magkano po kaya abutin ng gastos nito at saan po ba pede ipagawa ito around commonwealth / fairview area? Mas OK po ba Overhaul or Upgrade Engine replacement nito kung same price lang gagastusin? Maraming salamat po Tsikoteers.

Mga Sir/s, naka Toyota Townace ako at nagpalit ako ng engine from 2CT to 3CT. Ok naman po ang takbo nya pag walang ulan, pero pag malakas ang ulan , parang humihina ang hatak. May similar po ba kayong nararanasan?

Hi Guys, nagpa quotation ako sa Carruba Car Care sa Fairview (duon kasi kami pinakamalapit). Umabot ng 33Thou yung Total Overhaul Expenses ng FX ko. Mag Canvass pa ako ng ibang Shops around Fairview / Commonwealth area. For a 2C engine, ok ba yung quote na ganito? Thanks po.

Just acquired a Tamarraw FX HSPUR Diesel 97' last april. Wala talaga akong idea on purchasing second hand cars. But with this very informative thread, I end up buying good engine according to my mekanikos. But recently, i encountered "Body Shake/Vibration on Reverse". What could be the problem? When i checked the engine/tranny mounting, looks good naman. But meron akong napansin sa propeller shaft ko. It is connected directly from my tranny to differential. Ganito ba talaga ang original setup ng FX? Ok lang ba kung ganun ang setup? Need your help mga guros....

sir, wag mo na salpakan ng turbo.. malaking problem lang yan pag yung nabili mo hindi okay.. suggestion lang naman po sir.
