January 27th, 2004 10:59 PM #1Ever wondered what all this Kanji means:
Translation(thanks to a Japanese translator):
4WD CONTROLS
Lever Switch
H2 H2
N PUSH
L4 H4
H2 : For ordinary driving(2WD)
H4 : For driving on icy, snowy or sandy roads or roads with slippery surfaces
L4 : For driving when you need a big horsepower at low speed
Shifting
1. Shift change to H4 and L4 should be done after switching the right and left hub to “LOCK” position in case of the car with free wheel hub or power locking hub.
2. Switching from H2 to L4 and vise versa should be done-
while the car is at a standstill or running with the speed less than 8km/h for manual transmission car, and
while the car is at a standstill with the range at P or N for automatic transmission car
For further details, please refer to the instruction manual.

:
How to Maintain the Car with Turbo Charger
• Engine oil should be changed every 5,000km running (not exceeding six months).
For gasoline car, SE, SF or SG class oil with viscosity of 10W – 30 or more should be used.
For diesel car, CD class oil with viscosity of 10W – 30 or more should be used.
• Before you stop the engine immediately after running in high speed or climbing up, the engine must be idled for about 20 seconds to 2 minutes depending on the running condition.
• In cold weather, avoid racing the engine suddenly or increasing the speed suddenly immediately after starting the engine.
