May 4x2 dmax manual kami. New for '05 is the flex ride(as well as new interior accents) mas malambot nga pero bawas sa load capacity. May ABS at dual airbags yun d-max. I think hilux wala pa itong option. Di pa CRDI yun DMAX. Medyo bit-chy yun shifting sa M/T. Mas OK yun auto tranny. But its got a very powerful engine, unbeatable torque! great ride height! makes you wanna run over smaller cars hehehe. I guess mas malakas yun 3li crdi ng Hilux, I can only imagine the speed and torque potential it has... kaya mag Fortuner ka na hehehe.

One tough SOB of a pickup. Pero, I haven't ridden on a Strada or a D-max so I can't give a comparison.

If I were to choose between the 3 (hi-lux, d-ax and strada) i will go for the hi-lux.

    reasons:
    1. hilux has new design among the 3, poging-pogi siya ngayon dahil bagong labas
    2. good engine. the 3.0Liter engine is one hell of a powerful engine talagang humahatak compared to the 3.1Liter of D-MAx forget the engine of Strada.
    3. roomier, the new hilux cargo box at the back was trimmed to allow the front double cab to be moved backwards thus creating more space for both front and rear passenger. Talagang maluwag siya compared to the old Hi-lux.
    4. the coil springs have significantly reduced the bouncy of its ride (although it cannot beat the ride offered by TLC VX but pwede na rin ito)
    5. Tested Toyota Quality and high resale value basta Toyota.

By the way we have both old and new Strada, old Fuego and new D-Max and old Hi-lux as company service vehicle. A friend of mine just acquired his new Hi-lux just week ago and having a ride of the three for purposes of comparison, I'd say that the Hi-lux has a better ride than Strada and D-max. We are talking here of 4X4 running in rough roads at a distance of 12-20km. I also observed that sitting at the back of strada seems like you are slipping forward. I guess it has something to do with the design of their rear seats at masikip ang Strada. D-MAx by the way offered more extra features than the two.

If they just chromed the powdercoat bar, it would look ok siguro.

Personally, I like powdercoated more esp. if it matches the color of the lower tone in two tone vehicles.

pag nabangga yan with the bars on, sabihin natin protektado nga ang mga lights mo pero yung body naman will sustain most of the damage. ive seen vans and pick-ups na mas ok yung bangga kung walang bars.

depende sa bars tjm or arb im sure protektado talaga

i have a tjm roo bar on my pick up nakabangga ako ng poste when i was about to leave the parking masikip kasi so kumukuha ako ng buwelo medyo malakas ang arangkada ko yupi ang poste kala ko malaki ang damage ko pag tingin ko wala na chip off lang ang powder coat ng bar as if nothin happend
