    has anybody ever tried flushing the power steering system in a XE big body EE100?

    i never tried Do it you Self but its better to service it to shell service station to flush power steering fluid to really clean .

    have done it before pero sa gli. di ko kabisado ang XE pero halos pareho lang siguro.

    i don't recommend na gawin mo bro kung wala ka talaga idea, mas ok kung meron kang kasama na may alam talaga. Pag nag flush ng PS fluid kelangan ng dalawang tao bro. para may taga piga ng steering wheel.

    kelangan mo i jack yung kotse mo sa harap (both sides para magaan pigain)

    Engine off

    If you notice dun sa lalagyan ng PS fluid meron dalawang high pressure hose, (supply & return) yon.

    Sipsipin mo muna yung extra fluid sa lalagyan ng PS (syringe w/o needle) hangang maubos.

    Sa return side meron ka makikita na "steel strap" or "ring" na may bolt na pwede mong tangalin via Flat Screwdriver. (mag ready ka ng bottle na maliit kahit bote ng mineral water or hose na mahaba para drain)

    engine on, have your friend rotate the steering wheel sagad left & right until wala ng lumabas na fluid sa return side (syempre saluhin mo ng bote para di magkalat sa engine bay mo or sa hose papunta drain hehe)

    pag wala na fluid, ikabit mo yung return hose, lagyan mo ng fluid pang flush tapos repeat lang ulit ng steps hangang new fluid na ang gagamitin mo.

    sa final fluid mo, make sure na walang hangin ang power steering mo kasi titigas yun, testingin mo i-rotate left & right hangang mawalan ng hangin sa high-pressure hose.

    thanks for the reply. got a mechanic to show me which the return hose is did as suggested. times like this, help is indeed needed or you can do it yourself if you have an extra pair of very long arms.

    honestly i didnt know that PS fluid can also be flushed and be replaced with a new fluid... coz what im just doing is everytime that the PS fluid is low on its lever, I just do a refill on it...
