Tsikoteeers, need some suggestions on my 1st gen vios, actually its a gen 1.5
    Im planning to put HID
Im really after the looks at the same time yung safety and brightness,
How about sa fogs? Im into euro theme so medyo out na ang 3000k sa choices ko
Hope to hear some inputs sa mga naka HID on what would you recommend the best color temp. Thanks!

4300k po pinakamaliwanag. For me safety first before anything else. You might wanna check garyq's thread regarding HID projectors. There are infos there as well about HID systems.

Yup VCP forumer din po hehe.

True, slightly whitish than stock ang 4300k pero di hamak mas maliwanag hehe. IMO there's a reason naman kung bakit ang stock halogens ay color yellowish at hindi blue hehe.

    Retrofit or get whitish halogens.

Malaki kasi chance na glare lang ang magiging output kapag sa stock reflector nilagay yung HID bulb since they weren't designed to be plug and play sa reflector HLs. Daming ganito sa kalsada and it really is annoying to say the least. I agree with jhnkvn maybe get a Phillips XP or Osram NB or any other similar bulbs.

pasakay sa thread TS, tanong ko lang sir, Philips XP or Osram NB, pede na ba to kung magpadark tint ako on a rainy night? Balak ko kasi pa maniac tint but at the same time ayoko mag hid kung nakakainis sa mga kasalubong ko, medyo mahal kasi pag projector. 2nd option is fog lamps with hid but not projector, again kung hindi ito nakakainis sa kasalubong.

No idea sir as I haven't used one before. As garyq said in another thread, yun ang pinakamalaking kalaban ng ilaw. Kaya I chose one of the lightest shade of tint lang (3M BC35) kasi di ko rin maeenjoy ilaw ko kapag mag super dark ako. The BC35 provides enough privacy na.

TS, kung hindi ka magpaparetrofit at plug-and-play lang gagamitin mo, do everyone else a favor and just stick to halogen bulbs.

I'd much rather have bright halogens than useless 6000K plug-and-play HIDs.

Worth it naman ang ipon kapag magpaparetro, talagang maximized ang output ng HID and more importantly, di ka pa nakakasilaw sa kasalubong mo. Ang plug and play HID kasi 90% of the time nakakasilaw talaga, pwera na lang yung mga reflector HLs that were designed for HID bulbs such as the FD 2.0, TOTL Accord and the Forester.

HID suggestion
