November 4th, 2009 09:07 PM #1Hey Guys,
My family just got a new Vios 1.5G 2010 model and I noticed that the mileage (KM/L) is roughly about 6.3KM/L. Is that normal in city driving? I drive between 15-30KM/h. Any thoughts or suggestions?

How did you arrive at that figure? Did you compute it manually after fueling up or you got it from the trip computer ?
What kind of traffic condition do you drive? bumper to bumper? What's your daily route?

^^ Same answer with jaymd.
But I think, the FC of the vehicle is pretty low. It should just play around i think 7-8km/l. Then upon reaching 5k kms. Mga 10-12km/l na yan.
Driving habits and traffic conditions affect FC too.

November 4th, 2009 09:21 PM #5The Vios 1.5G comes with a computerized system which automatically calculates the mileage.
And it's usually bumper to bumper since I leave College during rush hour (5PM-6PM). And I drive in Metro Cebu.

November 4th, 2009 09:44 PM #6I traveled a total distance of about 160KM. I guess I have a long way to go before I start noticing the improvement in the FC. ;)
