New car and newbie questions

Hi Gurus! I have a question with my new Avanza 1.5G:

1) Normal po ba na ang RPM nya when idle fluctuates from 1 to 1.25 most of the time? I mean like around every 3-5 seconds?
2) First gear seems to do high RPM, rinig mo na ung "brooom" ng makina around 3 RPM pero mabagal naman tinatakbo mga less than 20km/h lang (or parang mga 15km/h lang)... normal ba to? Tapos when you press on clutch to switch gear rinig mo rin ung makina na like doing high rpm, pero swabe na sa 2nd-5th gears.
3) Fuel consumption seems to be around 9km/l .... d2 po kami sa may Zabarte road, my usual takbo is 40-50kmh average pero pumapalo rin naman sa 60 kasi may speed limit sa commonwealth. Normal ba FC ko? Feel ko kasi may kinalaman ung questions 1 and 2 ko d2 eh.
4) One time na turn-on ko ung susi without realizing na umaandar na pala ... pero once lang naman to, will that damage the car?

I just got my Avanza G 3 days ago pero sa sticker ng casa is delivered May 2011. Thanks po sa inyo mga guru!

about dun sa issue no. 2 (yung nilagyan ko ng BOLD case ko) naninibago ka lang siguro mag-drive ng Avanza, usually kailangan pagmagshishift o siguro pagnag-shishift ka e medyo mabigat pa yung paa mo sa accelator o hindi mo completely nagagaanan yung paa mo sa accelarator, (kaya nasasabi mung parang nataas ang rpm everytime you shifts gear). JUST A TIP: pagmagshishift ka, make sure na naka-angat ng kaunti yung paa mo sa accelator pedal, para hindi mag-rerev high kapag nagdisengage ka ng clutch.

on case no.3 sa FC, ok lang yan, mag-iimprove pa naman yan habang tumatagal. AFAIK aabot pa yan ng around 10 - 12km/L habang tumatagal.

on issue no. 4: dun sa starter, since brandnew pa yan, don't worry may warranty naman yan e, ingatan mo na wag ulit mangyari yun kundi masusunog ang started mo or mapupudpodyung carbon ng starter kung parati mung nagagawa yun.

a fluctuating idle is not normal. bring it to the casa, and let your warranty work for you. and while you are there, mention your other problems to them. take them for a spin around the area and show them your concerns. your new car must be in perfect running condition.
regarding your engaging the starter while the engine is on, forget it. happens to all of us once in a while. what i do, is to pull over (if i can) and turn off the engine, then start it again after a few seconds and go on my way. just to be sure it ain't stuck..
