    Hi, guys.

I am currently owning a 2016 Toyota Yaris na AT. Baha kagabi sa TS Cruz sa may daang hari, and we have no choice but to drive sa baha. Halos lagpas kalahati ng gulong yung tubig. Di naman ako tumirik tas sobrang iksi lang yung baha (mga 200 to 300 meters). Question ko lang is, ano yung dapat gawin after ko idrive sa baha? May kailangan ba icheck or palitan?

    Thanks!

Wala. Underwashed kung gusto mo. But I don't think it's necessary.

Relax lang huwag masyado I baby kotse. They are design for that. Kesa naman Ikaw malakad sa baha.

Underwash is fine just to remove any contamination and muck. This may seep into the suspension joints over time.

I suck at distances, eh. Hehe. Sorry. Pero maiksi lang talaga siya. Parang start of intersection to the end, ganun lang siya kahaba.

    Hehe

just have it cleaned / underwashed. maybe check the carpets for any sign of floodwaters seeping in. can also have the brakes checked just in case any dirt/gunk got stuck between the break pads/break shoes.

don't use your parking brakes as you park at home if it's just minutes after wading deep flood waters, it could stuck if you left it engaged overnight or worst days after.
mag kalso ka na lang kung kinakailangan.

changing oil and fluids is too much in my opinion. kung maigsi lang at constant speed naman and hindi ka tumambay naka hinto. I lived in a flood prone area (thank goodness naka lipat na) where pag rainy season overnight kalahati ng gulong yung baha sa garage namen and wala kami magawa wala akong matinong tulog lagi nun haha

Actually instead of the engine oil, replacing the brake fluid seems more apt. It's not too expensive too.

I passed that flood yesterday too. Lagpas na sa height ng sidewalk yung baha. Also saw some cars wading through the flood. Dapat umatras na lang yung mga kotse.

pwedeng wala. kung may amoy pa-underwash ka lang.

ride your brakes (konting tapak sa brake habang umaandar) to get rid of rust on the brake disk/drum for maybe 30 seconds. do the same with the hand brakes, konting hila sa hand brake lever habang umaandar. those are the most i would do. yan e kung sipagin ako. otherwise wala. don't lose any sleep about it.
