tama ka dyan pare ko, if u ask me Mitsu deserve what they're getting. We consumers deserve more than just facelift and cosmetic changes sa kotse. Originally Posted by boybi

True, Toyota has taken a leap with Innova pero I think Mitsu may have done the right thing in waiting for a breakthrough from the competition before they release theirs. In as far as the Revo and Crosswind, they may have never necessitated the need to change the Adventure entirely - not like the Innova.
I can be wrong. If after the Innova they still stick with it, then...![]()
PS. And by the way, I don't think cosmetic lang yung naging changes ng Adventure. Check the changes in suspension, seat comfort, temp insulation and noise/vibration reduction.
I think its really a model change this time. Could it be the new Asian SUV that they've hinted on in the news some months back?

siguro ang target market na ng innova ay mpv segment...di na auv..for in comparison with the grandis ang innova...parang ganun
Diba yung counterpart ng Grandis eh yung Previa? Well anyway tumawag yung salesman ng Diamond Motors samin the other day inooffer yung Grandis (1.4M) and Montero (1.5+M) eh di pa naman kami bibili.Originally Posted by alwayz_yummy
for me kasi, previa is a minivan by nature..kasama nyan sa market ng sedona,town&country,L300s,etc..Originally Posted by ILuvDetailing
while the grandis is a sort of an mpv(multi-purpose vehicle) not a minivan..5+2 seats car with van-like utility, sort of a wagon..

IMO, it's a good thing because it demonstrates the reliability of the design. Kaya lang it's also a bad thing because it's getting to be a dinosaur. Apart from the facelifts, it's showing a lack of innovation for their AUV/DFW (Dynamic Family Wagon) line.
As far as the engine goes, I have no complaints on the 4D56, although a turbo option for the Adventure would be nice.

OT: L300 came out nung kinder pa ako, now am graduating college, meron pa rin, same body. Yung adventure kaya? pag may apo na ako? hehehheheOriginally Posted by revoGSX
tama si mazdamazda, they will study the Innova and get ideas for the adventure replacement. Adventure btw came out 1998, 2nd year hs pa ako nun. Gosh, tagal na pala.
i luv detailing,
alan ba yung name ng agent ng diamond motoprs? me din tinatawagan. told him i'd wait for the fortrunner n xterra b4 i decide.
San ba na conceptualize yung Innova? Sa Thailang ba? Wala bang R & D team yung Mitsu dito sa Asia? Kung paliitin na lang nila yung Grandis, palitan yung slidding door to standard doors, habaan ang hood, iksiin yung wheelbase, put a mivec engine, ayos all new Adventure!!!
if my memory serves me right, sa indonesia naconceptualize ang innova, correct me if am wrongOriginally Posted by ILuvDetailing

innova's classification is wagon/suv ata eh. i just talked to a salesman yesterday and he said that hindi na raw AUV ang category ng innova. i think this is because of the excise tax being imposed on AUVs. ginagaya ng toyota ang style ng CR-V so they can lower their prices.
Wac3: Mmm... Diba yung Innova 10 seater din? So I don't see they can find a loophole in the excise tax.
It is an 8 seater. Wala na maglalabas ng 10 seater (na siksikan). The tax loophole has already been plugged shut.Originally Posted by ILuvDetailing
Motioncars has categorized the Innova as a minivan. Same league as the Grandis.
Teka muna, verified ba yan.
In the end, we produced a product with similar capability but at cheaper price.
I hope Mitsu will replace the Adventure soon with better engines, MIVEC and 4M41![]()
Originally Posted by Skywalker

It may result in bad publicity for them.
