I feel the power steering is overboosted in the Honda City... lacks feedback from the front wheels thru the steering wheel. SEGA's DAYTONA USA has more feedback.Originally posted by mk
ok..we have also bought the brand new honda city.03
-suspension is much more better sa honda city compare to vios.
- one thing i dont like about hondas ay mahina talaga ang break...
-in terms of looks...i'd still go for toyota vios.hehe
overall score rating 1 to 10
vios 9 , city 8.....hirap mag decide pero ok talaga itong dalawang car...
The suspension is too stiff. My brother tried reducing the air pressure in my mom's Honda City but I still feel its still stiff when I drove it tonight.
The seats are too tall... I have a hard time getting in the car.. I have to bend my head over at impossible angles to get in to the driver's seat.

kamusta ang fuel consumption? vios vs city? 1.5 litre mdl
bump!
Full Tank up to 1/4? or Full Tank up to "E"? Ilan Liters ba tanke ng Vios at City.Originally Posted by mk
Kaiinggit naman kayo.... naka Vios... Haha... One of my "likable" cars... (trip ko tlga mga maliliit na cars... given that I have a HB now). So kamusta na ang Vios after almost 2 Months? ;) Meron bang Test-drive promo ang Toyota like Honda does? I'd like to try both of them kasi (Vios and City) ;)
estimate lang ba yung fuel mileage figures or based on computation when you purchased gasoline? parang ang baba ng mileage eh, ganun rin mileage namin sa 2.0 liter car namin....
320 kms per 45 liters gas... wow that's NOT cool!
Toyota ads says it can reach up to 20kms/li... some toyota agent says 1peso per kilometer consumption daw... mali pala lahat.![]()
Mileage depends on a great deal on driving style as well as road conditions.
just got my vios last Jan 5, and from my initial findings 13km/l and consumption nya. hopefully magimprove pa kapag naka 5/10 thousand km na sya. byahe ko daily is imus via buhay na tubig/aguinaldo highway to makati and vice versa, so mixed na highway, city and cavite style traffic na stop and go. happy na ko with the gas consumption especially na ang dati kong ride e 1.8L na Revo hehehehe
mga sir i was suppose to buy a vios kaya lang change my mind into Crosswind kasi sabi ng friend ko mas matipid pa rin daw ang diesel. Is it true?
Sorry but you shouldn't use mileage as a reason to compare cars in different classes. The Vios is a subcompact car with excellent mileage for its class of which other cars are: the City/Jazz. The Crosswind is an AUV of which its competitors are: The Revo, Innova and Adventure. The Crosswind with a bigger engine will consume more gas for the same distance and speed as a smaller car like the vios. Also, the high mileage figures can only be applicable through the Expressways where in you can travel in high speeds. In stop and go traffic situations in the city, Subcompact cars would use less fuel.
Also, the crosswind has build problems. Search for the thread where they are discussed in detail.
Mura talaga.

A group tested the consumption of a Vios 1.3, and found it to be significantly better than the carb 2E of former Corolla XLs and XEs, which is actually economical already. Another source stated that the 1.5 consumes even less than the 1.3 because of better power-weight ratio.
Anyway, these findings are not 100% reliable, but yes, a fuel-injected engine with variable valve timing should really be more efficient than a carb version with the same displacement.
1.5 1NZ-FE on echo verso 180km top speed.
What more on a Vios with low drag coefficient/
