Current Euro-spec engine.

After all, finally the 2.5 will be fitted with an intercooler, which absence was always my main complaint...

The same improvements done in the Argentinian-made Hilux and Fortuner might be expected to the Thai versions of the Hilux and the Fortuner 3.0, getting 171hp and also an increasement in torque.

so yung hearsay na toyota cant bring VNT diesel engine (except for 3.0) here is just marketing strategy? eto, meron na ngayon

they just sell first the old models... with less cost and more gain.. wala pa kase variable vanes dati, pero pwede naman talaga. good move toyota!

Sabagay kahit hindi na yung mga Hiace Commuter pero yung more expensive hiaces should have this improved engine as well IMO. Sobrang ginatasan ng Toyota eh. Kaya panis yan kung tutuusin sa Hyundai GS. Sabagay kahit pa VNT na eh panis pa din sa GS.

Toyota fanbois don't fret about this okay.

mas malakas pa rin GS kahit VNT na supergrandia, pero atleast it will be a boost compared to 102hp. ang mahal ng super grandia e. so sya dapat bigyan ng upgrade para sulit. wag lang magtaas presyo. hahaha

Kaya nga. Yung Prado diesel 1KD-FTV din pero mas malaks naman sa Hilux at Fort. Sana yung Super Grandia may ganun din addt'l feature. Mahal eh.
