to all those who were in line for a lc200, your friendly sr may be calling you now because the higher end cars are projected to have lower prices for 2018 with the new excise tax being approved by the bicameral conference.

existing excise tax levies 60% excise tax on cars priced 2.1 m up.

whereas the new excise tax effective 2018 levies a 20% excise tax on cars priced from 1M-4M and anything in excess of 4m, excise tax is 50% which is still less than the 60% being paid now.

anyone care to confirm if the above is correct or not?

funny my fb msengger now filled with messages offering lc200s. lowered price to 5.250-5.450. down from 5.5 when i inquired from them!
but our agent insists tuloy dw ang price increase as per memo of the owner of the dealership. tinuro pa nya. we'll see. either way im a happy camper.

good deal na nga. if really fresh like it came from the dealership. insurance alone is 102k. plus white pa which was really hard to get your hands on last month.. maybe the reseller is one of those who "invested"
