    This is sure to make the 2.5L D4D Fortuner an attractive option. Imagine raising it's max output from 102BHP to 132BHP... That's not too bad na.

    almost ANY electronically-controlled turbocharged diesel could benefit from a computer replacement. i think the easiest way is to increase the amount of boost, and through some other "optimizations" too.

    there would definitely be more stress on the mechanicals compared to stock, but depending on the aggressiveness of the optimizations and the expertise of the tuner, it may or may not translate to markedly compromised real-world durability and reliablity.

    plus, such a modification would surely void your entire engine and drivetrain warranty... although i bet it would be simple to unplug the chip before bringing it to the dealer for service within the warranty period hehe, they'll probably never find out.

    The PowerPlug is model specific because of the plug n play harness but the piggyback ecu it uses is universal.
