if done outside casa, only the electricals warranty will be voided, you will still have warranty for your engine and other mechanisms.

Thank you *mile2, so adivisable pa rin na sa casa na lang magpurchase at mag pa insltall? do you have any idea how does it look after the installation? is it looks like the built-in central locks of E or G variant?. Salamat po ulit.

Someone already posted a picture of after market central lock and power windows upgrade on J unit at the Innova thread. Kindly use the search function of Tsikot.

If I remember right it is from Shark.

Black trim ang tawag doon, black paint lang yon.

You can have it done sa trusted paint shop mo, don't worry about warranty since paint lang naman ang gagalawin mo.

KIJANG is a TOYOTA AUV made in Indonesia similar to our tamaraw fx, revo and innova. However, in its latest redesign (2004) it is trying to drop its Kijang badge but still tries to win the hearts of Kijang loyalists, hence the name TOYOTA KIJANG INNOVA. Remember when the tamaraw fx went into a redesign (1998) hence the name TOYOTA TAMARAW FX REVO. Hope this could help. Thank you!!!

thats what you call the black sash windowframe wipeout. Anyway, you could choose to have it painted at reputable paintshops or you could buy a high quality teflon-like sticker custom-cut to fit your innova. I think its the first step in upgrading your innova exterior to either a G or V grade!!! I've done it with my Innova J and am happy with it!!! hope this could help!!! thank you!!!

    hello...

try mo website ng mga toyota dealers such as toyota otis, toyota makati, toyota marikina, etc. meron silang innova accessories na may pictures and prices...definitely, they installs...check them out na lang...

but if you want from banawe installers, search mo using google: goldrich, gold cars, araneta car accessories, winterpine, cartronics...

    have a gud day!

Did you have your's painted or did you do the "stick on"?

If its the painted type, how much did this cost you and where did you have it done?

I noticed on a G variant, that this "black sash" is actually has a flat black finish. It involves painting the exterior and interior window frame and parts of the upper body frame.

There is also the concern of how to mask off the surrounding area properly inorder to prevent spray mist from ruining the tint and esp. the interior.

Ask ko lang po sana sa inyo if which is better, a roof-mounted LCD (w/o DVD) or 2 sets of Headrest LCD for our innova? What are the advantages/disadvantages of each accessories? Any suggestions on brands? What sets of audio systems appropriate for your chosen type of LCD? Will buy soon an in-dash dvd player with TV tuner as HU.
I would pick the roof mounted type. it saves you space and away from the tinkering hands of kids. They say audiovox is a good buy, another is the nextbase pero pricey.

    Hello all,

    1. I just want to make sure: the alarm of the Fortuner can be used in the Innova, right? Do alarm systems (that are available in the market) already have the keyless entry function?

    2. Also, regarding the chrome door handles of the Innova, does any store offer a set that isn't a stick-on type? How much is it, well, if there is?

    Thanks!

Hi to all proud owners of innova,

this is my 1st post...I found out that the accessories at Toyota increased their prices yesterday lang. I was planning to buy rear spoiler with LED (old price is 8.4k) for my innova but learned that the new price is now 10k +...sobrang taas ng increase! same goes with side mouldings and sunvisors...now I'm planning just buy the spoiler, side moulding and sunvisors outside casa and have it installed sa toyota mkna na lang kung pwede (for the installation fee) pwede kaya yon? para di ma-void ang warranty sa electrical...

    thanks in advance.

I don't think they would allow to install on their grounds accessories from outside sources. Kontratahin mo na lang yung installer secretly to have your accessories installed elsewhere.

Yup, marami na. In fact my ride has it which I myself installed. Bought it from Banawe. If I can recall it's around P1.5k then. Quite efficient when backing plus my backing sensors. Just scout around banawe and canvass. It has provision holes for screw on top but I didn't mount it by drilling (don't want to sacrifice holes on my roof). What I did, strengthend the adhesion by sticking the whole area with 3m moulding tape and attached a black rubber pattern sheeting underneath the mirror arm to serve as bracket for sturdiness/firmness.
