    I pulled an LC80 whose two right tires fell into a Maynilad digging along Examiner St.

    On my first pull, naputol yung automotive tow ropes ko. So I peered into the LC's cabin and saw the switches for the diff locks and turned them both on. I think the trick worked. On the second tug, it managed to get free. Btw, I did not use the steel hooks of the towrope, I just tied the rope to my pintle hook.

    I think it was a USDM or ex-JDM LC80. It was definitely not local.

    Turns out that the driver is a certain Mr. Cruz, President and CEO of Megabuilt films based in Pampanga. Interested din pala siya sa four wheel drives. hehehe.

    Sarap talaga ng naka-4x4, you get to meet new people because of it.

    paano ba mag pull ng na stuck na vehicle dapat sya din umaandar? or yung pajero lang ang nag pupull?

    Kung physically incapacitated yung aided vehicle, walang paraan para umandar ito at tulungan yung humihila.

    Pero in the case of OTEP and the LC80, mas maganda rin yung tumutulong yung hinahatak so not to add more burden to the recovery vehicle.

    Meron naman talaga specified lengths ang recovery straps. It should be at a minimum of 3 meters.

    The LC80 was aiding while i tugged. Pareho kami naka-low range so less ang danger of excess momentum kasi malakas ang engine brake sa 4L.

    Ang bigat pala nun. :D

    yung nga rin ang iniisip ko nakakatakot baka biglang sumalpok sa likod ng humihila do we have standards kung gaano dapat kahaba ang tow ropes? when recovering stucked vehicles?
